Hotel am Hochrhein

8/10 Good

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. As was the bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was excellent too and provided lovely well cooked food both dinner and breakfast. The only downside would be the internet connection. It was not very stable in my room and would randomly and often disconnect. I did report it to reception. This did not detract from an excellent hotel though. I would stay here again."

Die Sonne Nollingen

10/10 Excellent

"Enjoyed a lot my stay at this hotel. It was so clean and comfortable. I have been traveling with my two friends, everyone had her bed and we had a big kitchen to spend time together. It was spacious, with laundry downstairs and drying machine, free parking. I would choose the same hotel during my next trip to Basel. Highly recommend."

Hotel Schützen

10/10 Excellent

"We arrived at about 7:30pm and checked in. On going to the restaurant we found that the evening meal times were 18:00 - 19:00! However, the staff were very helpful and found us a table and we ate then. Bothe the room and the meal were very good, the breakfast too. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to try out the amenities. We would go again."

Spacious vacation apartment with panoramic view

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property. The house is beautiful, with stunning views and lovely, well-maintained gardens, making it a wonderful place to relax. The owners live next door and were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, not only for exploring the beautiful Black Forest, but also for visiting Switzerland and France. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Basel Airport, which made getting there quick and easy.Everything was exactly as described, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. A wonderful property in a beautiful location with genuinely lovely hosts."

Hotel Schiff am Rhein

10/10 Excellent

"A unique setting in a beautiful area. The hotel is located right next to the Rhine River in a scenic location where the river moves rapidly with a soothing sound. The view also includes a small island that is a pedestrian park. The surrounding historic center city is well preserved and gives you a real feeling for what the area looked like in the Middles Ages. Furnishings are dimple but comfortable. The hotel restaurant is good, but expensive, and there are many other dining choices nearby. The local thermal springs spa at Sole Uno is one of the best in Europe."
