Yet it was easy to get down to Pistoia to catch a train, or just drive into Florence or Pisa or mountain villages or wherever we chose to explore in the region. Davide, the host, will do everything in his power to ensure you are well accommodated and knowledgable during your stay, and he is readily available for questions and assistance whenever needed. "An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. The shower was a little small and flimsy but the water was good and hot and the heating was hydronic . Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from a beautiful town and the station. If you dont speak italian the majority of staff spoke some English but take your translator with you. A beautiful mountain atmosphere gives a good break from the bustling cit of florence. "
