"Very nice"

"We stayed for a week during Christmas, and we had a fantastic experience. The property was very spacious, well decorated, and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city and the region. We particularly enjoyed the view of the surrounding hills as the sun was rising. The amenities provided were top-notch. "Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. Owner communication was excellent! We loved our stay!!!"

"Brilliant stay, lovely property which was clean and modern. It would have been good to understand the pool would be closed until 1st june in advance. The stairs were also quite steep for elderly relatives. Only small things!"

"The villa was beautiful! Had two balconies to chose from which both overlooked the lake. The bathroom was modern and even had a sauna inside. Parking can be slightly difficult to find but we were lucky during our stay to find spaces not too far away from the villa"

Die großzügigen und sehr schön renovierten Zimmer haben zudem genug Rückzugsmöglichkeit geboten. "Excellent location with lovely views. We visited late September and could find sun in the garden, when it shone, anytime of the day. The villa is well equipped. The lift was a bonus getting suitcases upstairs. The pool is small but well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Rubbish removed regularly . We enjoyed the games room in the basement."

"Live like a local, in the thick of things, yet in a house that is quiet and cool. WE stayed in end of June, and swam every day among the bees smothered lavender. the house is close to Como, Milan, and Varese, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners are very nice, and were around when we needed things. Lots of grocery stores, and restaurants close by. "We stayed here for a quieter experience, and it was worth it! It is in a fantastic location—walkable to Laglio, and just a few minutes’ drive to Como or Tremezzo. The kitchen is well-equipped and allowed me to make some nice meals, which we enjoyed on the terrace. The views and the pool are exceptional! The only suggestion is to update the bathrooms a little. Overall, this was a real highlight of our stay in Lake Como."

"This house, part of which was built in the 1500s, is more than a villa: it's a total experience. The entire estate is imbued with the feel of a grander era, from the statuary in the hedges, to the manicured lawns, to the high-ceilinged bedrooms, to the artful sconces in the upstairs hallway, to the illuminated statue at the bottom of the stairs, to the magnificent views. "This villa has an absolutely gorgeous view, on top of the mountain. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show online. It is walking distance away from a few restaurants, the beach, and the ferry in Onno, which makes it a perfect location if you don’t have a car. The interior of the Villa was average: there was no AC (so make sure to confirm that before booking) and the sheets had a stain on it. Also, the place was advertised as private, but we were shocked when we saw the owner’s family...
