"The place is about 7 mins walk from the no 9 tram to Metro Centrale. Quiet neighbourhood. Safe. Clean. Best part of the stay is going on a Lake Como tour with a smart funny guide called Emanuel. He’s good at reading the room, attentive, catered to our every need and knew not to tell us too many boring history. "Extra hidden costs needs to be payed on arrival, no way of avoiding these since they are not optional services. No hot water and when asked about it, the response was to try another bathroom. You get one sheet which works as both the bed sheet and the cover which had holes in it. No keys to the doors to the rooms, all doors was unlocked all the time. Bathroom door couldn't be locked. There is a fan in the room but the condition of that was well past its expiration date, it made a terrible noise."
