"Booked this hotel for the spa and its proximity to Bicester Village. Drive up to the hotel is along an imposing tree lined drive, very pleasant. Car park is more than ample for cars and has CCTV security cameras. Reception was all decked out in Christmas decorations and felt warm and cosy. We booked a Superior Room number #2 with four poster bed and outside balcony. The room was freezing cold when we entered and the bed spread all crumpled and smelled of stale sweat. They bent over backwards to please us and although neither the bar nor the restaurant were operational they allowed us to bring drinks into the hotel and provided glasses and ice for us. the bedroom was huge and the bed was a queen bed and really comfortable. Yes there are things that could be done to improve this hotel but I loved it"
