We booked it during the off season in November and thanks to the weather cooperating, we were able to get the pool heated and it was heavenly (a highlight of our stay). The property is located nearly all the way down on the West side. It had great views of both the sunrise and sunset. Spacious porches with comfy rocking chairs. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was meticulously organized and had everything we needed. The host was very easy to communicate with and was very kind. Overall - an amazing visit and great host. It’s hard not to be happy at Holden Beach :) "

"The house had a den as well as a living room/dining area. It had both a front and back balcony which were lovely to sit on and visit or enjoy the view and the breeze. The back of the house looked out on a marsh where there was lots of wildlife: deer and a wide variety of shore birds. The kitchen was well supplied with both dishes and cookware which was very helpful in cooking and eating our own meals. Being a second-row house we didn't have a direct path from the house onto the beach, but our beach access was only a short walk from the house. We had nine people in our group and the house was very comfortable and fit our needs well. We had great communication with our hosts, who were friendly and helpful."
