"This is the perfect spot for peace and tranquility and for those who love being in nature. The privacy was a bonus. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities of home. A perfect home away from home.We also loved the fact that this property was pet-friendly and our dog enjoyed many days lying on the deck.The host was great to deal with and was only an email away if questions needed answering."

"Loved our stay at this cottage. Family of 4 with 2 kids younger than 10. Plenty of beds in the beautiful rustic cottage, that's got everything we needed. This cottage combines modern features (wifi, bathroom, outdoor shower with hot water, full kitchen) with the look and feel of a classic rustic cottage. Couldn't ask for better. There's so much sitting areas on the multiple, very large decks: one right outside the cottage, overlooking the lake, another deck on the water. Lots of areas for sitting and relaxation. Fire-pit with chairs is also a very nice thing to have. It's 20 minutes from the town of Sharbot lake, so easy to drive and get anything you need. Finally, the hosts were very nice, and very responsive. They left us notes and instructions of things to do in the area. Will definitely book again."

"Took my family here for a much needed getaway for my postpartum wife. It was perfect. Having the river directly behind the cabin was amazing for the view and swimming (great fishing too), it was closer than I expected and the waterfall nearby was such a nice ambient sound. Buddy the dog was the first dog I’ve seen mine really bond with and take a liking to in years, he’s super friendly on his odd travels around the property. The back lake is very peaceful and offers great sunset views. Overall a wonderful place I’ll definitely be coming back to, it would be great any time of year!"
