"We are in an end room on the 2nd floor and it was roomy and quiet for the most part. The outside light was very bright coming through the fully closed blinds at night. Could use black out curtains covering the edges of the window. Really close to everything. Great little coffee place and pub easy to walk to. Would stay again!"

"This place is perfect! Small and cozy, gorgeous setting, super well appointed home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck surrounded by the trees and using the bbq and hot tub. It was a great launchpad for exploring the many beautiful trees and beaches in the area."

"If you are looking for a getaway to the more rugged parts of the west coast of Vancouver Island, this property is ideal. It is easy to get to, the owners/host are super efficient at communications and providing useful information and the cabin is close to most of the areas to explore and to the local store and restaurant/cafe and pub. While there are a number of other cabins nearby, our cabin was well secluded and there was little or no noise from other occupied cabins. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well equipped for cooking, or games for those rainy moments. We loved the walks and hikes nearby and it was easy to find decent food within a few minutes walk. The advance info from the host was really useful and should be read carefully before setting off!"

"Host was great. Good communication, fair, and we genuinely felt like he cares. Had an issue with check in as it was 90 mins past check in before the cleaner finished. Couldn’t watch TV, as the remote was missing. Overall, the home is as described. Easy location. The sauna is new and a cool feature. The home is 1.5 bath, with a shower only. But it is very spacious.Based on our experience with the host, I would recommend as I think the negative part of our experience was a one off, and the host genuinely tried to help as much as possible."

"Incredible view and well-appointed rental. Lots of kitchen items and even some blankets to use when enjoying the balcony on chilly evenings. Host replied quickly to one question we had after check-in. We would happily return to Ocean Pearl. One comment I may make for future guests is that we were advised at check-in that we needed to take garbage and recycling with us when we checked out. As the garbage facility was not open when we left town, it meant bringing it home. While I am sure there is a good reason for this requirement, it might have been good to know this ahead of time."
