Easy, seamless check-in and the room was clean and modern. We stayed in Unit 2, which does lack windows, so it could feel a little enclosed and got quite steamy when showering. Otherwise, it was a great spot for a quick two-night stay in Cowichan!

Quick response to any questions via text. Enjoy chilling on the dock, although the ladder to get in/out of water could use a cleaning as was sludgy. Would definitely recommend if you're not getting in the lake. Close to amenities!

We had a fantastic time here. Shared dock was a perfect place to hang in between exploring and walking distance to a few nice places to eat, aswell as the tube rental place. Room was very clean, had everything we needed, air conditioning kept us cool on the hot day. the little room for the kiddos is a great touch too, you and your family will love it here, we will be back. one minor inconvenience is the parking isnt ideal but its not to bad, not bad enough to deter us from coming back

Easy check in procedure and keypad number provided quickly. Despite their being multiple units, noise was not a problem and I enjoyed a dip in the river from the dock. Room was well appointed and maintained with AC to keep us cool. No complaints or issues, thank you for providing us with somewhere nearby to Sunfest, that was not a tent.

The suite was relatively spacious but still cozy, and very clean. The kitchen was not large and did not have a stove, but was well stocked with many appliances including a blender, a coffee maker, a kettle, a hotplate for cooking simple meals, and a toaster oven. The bathroom was very clean, bright, and spacious with a wonderful shower. The only mild criticism is that the bathroom fan made a very loud clunking sound after running for more than a few minutes.

We had one of the three rooms facing the river - highly recommend as other rooms have limited windows/light and are on the road side. Excellent public space (we were a group of 8) so could sit outside under a covered shelter with firepit or at an outside table looking over the river. They were very accommodating of our needs and responded quickly although they were not on site. Easy walk to top to eating spots and access to bike rail trail.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was tastefully updated, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable and it was spacious for my wife and me. The shared outdoor space was immaculate and we enjoyed a morning of swimming off the docks and reading in the hammocks. The climate control in the room worked efficiently and quietly. Ed’s coffee shop next door was cute and convenient. Our stay felt like a home away from home. Thanks for a great time!

We were looking for a comfortable accommodation for 4 adults on a motorcycle trip and Riverside by Cowichan Lake Cottages checked off every box! Our unit had one queen bed, one bunk bed, and one sofa bed, all very comfortable. The main area had a modern split a/c system with remote control while the bedroom was equipped with an electric heater and table fan. The property was very clean and well maintained with nice details in the kitchen area. Parking was easy with one provided parking pass, but not needed because street parking sign reads, "2 hours from 9am-6pm". Since check-in is 4pm and check out is 10am, you are legally parked regardless. The area is very quiet if a quiet night's sleep is what you need. Self check-in with door security code sent via text message, staff are are easily accessible via the same if you need anything or have any questions. There are plenty of services nearby within walking distance including a pub for a late meal, a Tim Hortons and an A&W for breakfast. A very enjoyable stay, not overpriced, we will definitely be back!

The kitchen was very well equipped! The suite was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking down to the pier and sitting and enjoying the view. The location was very convenient to the river, restaurants, trails and shops. We enjoyed being able to walk places, and never used our car at all during our stay. We chose the larger accommodation, which we really didn't need. Our suite included a queen bed, bunkbeds and a pull-out chesterfield. We have family with children and the accommodation would be so perfect for them.

The room was very clean. The location is right on the main road through town so it is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Our unit was one of the river view ones so right beside the water and very quiet with no noise from the steet It also had patio doors facing the water so lotlight
