"Enjoyed my time in Tennessee, beds are super comfortable as I slept so good. The room needed a better cleaning. Floors were dirty as I got my feet dirty just walking to my bed (I forgot my slippers) vent above toilet was caked on with dust, found a few hairs on shower wall. I had to clean before I used with Lysol wipes."

"I reserved the "cottage" to attend my 50th high school reunion. I suspected before arriving that I might know the area in which the house is located. Sure enough, as a teenager, I had been there to visit my boyfriend's grandmother who lived further up the road. I learned how to drive his father's VW Beetle straight drive on that road. So it was a very nostalgic experience, and it's a beautiful area of Scott Country.There is an interesting swinging bridge on the right as you turn to go to the house. While there, the family who owned it were having a 50th celebration. It was nice to be invited to join them. I had forgotten how friendly most people are in the area. Unfortunately we had a busy weekend so we didn't have time to walk across the bridge.We enjoyed the time we spent in the house. While it's an old house, it was very comfortable with the amenities we needed. I especially enjoyed the screened in front porch in the mornings while drinking coffee and looking out to the sun sparkling on the river across the narrow road. I was also pleased that we could take a walk not too far down the road and find adequate green space for our well-behaved dogs to do their business. It's important for us to find VRBO options that allow us to bring them with us."

"Well designed, restored property in a charming, rural town. We have been here before they closed because of Covid and liked it then. We still love it here although some paint touch up and cleaning (Windows!) would be in order. Parking is easy, big elevator."

"Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Ice machine was broken, but they had ice available in the office. Room was clean and comfortable."

"Absolutely love this place. But they need to update the TV remote and neither lamp next to the bed worked. Not a big deal but if that’s all I can complain about. I think they did a great job. The place was spotless and very comfortable. I love sitting out on the balcony and watching the town."

"The stay was amazing. We came down for the Bristol nascar race and were welcomed with a very cozy and clean cabin. It had so much character and charm. Loved all the decorations and amenities! The beds were super comfortable, sheets were nice and clean, bathrooms were very nice also. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was this morning while we sat in the hot tub! Overall we definitely want to come back and possibly book a trout fishing trip or maybe just tube down the river lol!Jeff was an amazing host and answered promptly with any questions and was also very accommodating! Thank you guys so much!! It was very much appreciated!"

"It was enjoyable stay. The room was clean, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was satisfactory. Even when they had a problem with the hot water they came to the room offering to allow me to leave and refund the day. I stayed and the problem was fixed in a couple of hours"
