We had a great time here the room was perfect, lots of Lego everywhere. Staff were great. My only comment is it’s very expensive for an evening buffet and the buffet was limited. Lovely fresh fruit and vegetables, but just a little bit limited.
The hotel is similar as the other Lego hotels in the US. Location is great. Breakfast is not very impressive. It is self-check in. It costed about 500 dollars to stay on night there. I probably would not recommend staying there with this price. It is about half of the quality and value.
We enjoyed our stay at the Castle Hotel! Our boys loved the bunk beds in the Wizard Room. The unlimited play time with lego was also a hit! The breakfast was just okay. They had the usual breakfast items with a big selection but just didn't love it. The buffet dinner though was great! Plenty of choices and food was tasty. It was a great option for after a tiring day at the parks. I would definitely stay here again!
Room was amazing for decorations. Clean and spacious. The only negative was that the sheets on the beds felt like a disposable plastic which was not expected considering the high price of the room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic.
Room was quite dark but it had Lego everywhere. The treasure hunt idea was really nice, the kids had an amazing time. Thank you so much to the receptionists for shipping us the Teddy Bear we left in our room!
A rip-off. The room was okay and breakfast was very nice, but the price level of rooms, food and parking is ridiculous. I can highly recommend some of the good restaurants in the town centre that serve very nice food at a fraction of the price.
And to top it off, we got a 1000 DKK parking fine despite having paid for parking, because the gps had placed us a few metres into another Legoland parking zone = same price, same rules, same parking company and still got fined. We are not coming back.
Great stay for our 2-year-old and 7-year-old. They were both very entertained by the hotel and the park. The interior of the hotel was awesome. The clue-hunting game they give to arriving kids to unlock the safe in their rooms to find a lego toy was perfect. The breakfast buffet wasn't great by Scandinavian standards but was still good. Beds were great.
Room is spectacular. We reserved a wizard room, my kid was amazed by the wizard elements, for example owls, potions, and spiders, inside the room. My kid also loved the bunker bed area, like a small personal space for herself. Also the location is convenient for Legoland and Lego house.
Overall the experience was great. Less than desirable food in the facility and far too expensive for what you get. Could be better in that respect. The staff were very nice! The food though… Ayayay
As a solo traveller I was a little concerned but I didn't feel out of place at all. Just embrace your inner child and enjoy the sheer novelty of it. Plus the breakfast buffet is excellent. The lack of noise makes it feels like no-one was staying there - until I saw the hordes at breakfast. Highly recommend it as an experience.
This hotel was our wish from the beginning and it perfectly fulfilled both our wishes and those of our children. Eating was made very easy and the children really liked the outdoor playgrounds and the LEGO boxes inside, which took a lot of time. The restaurant's LEGO playroom was also really nice and gave the adults more time to eat while the children could play nearby. All in all, a super experience, thank you for that!
We had a great trip, easy access from the airport and walking distance to Lego house, legoland, La landia. What more could you want. The decor certainly landed well with my 8 year old. As a female travelling alone with my son I felt safe being in the hotel and the surrounding areas at all times. Hotel restaurant was closed on our arrival day - but not a problem as we had the choice to eat at the hotel next door with many options for us both to enjoy. Overall a great stay.
Hotel was fun for the kids, and comfortable for the adults too! Rooms are comfortable, with legos to play with, and things are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel features play areas, playgrounds, a small shop of snacks and souvenirs, as well as an onsite restaurant buffet. The buffet was good, with plenty of options for everyone. The bar also serves drinks with dinner or in the lounge, which is near the kids Lego play area so you can enjoy a drink while kids play for hours. The walk to legoland was very close, and took only a couple minutes. Even after the whole day my youngest could walk back in under 5 minutes, and he was so tired from the day!
