GOOD TO KNOW:
The refuge is set up in nature and entirely autonomous: Electricity is generated by solar panels, the kitchen and heating run on gas and running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative home is also to be aware of its impact on the environment!
Therefore, a few rules are necessary during your stay:
1) Except for phones and laptops, you should not plug in any electrical appliances other than those provided on site at the risk of damaging the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hair dryer, a hair straightener or a raclette machine
2) As the risk of fire is very high in the wilderness, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the refuge and in the surrounding area, but also to light any flame (no barbecue)
3) The wastewater is filtered by plants: you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, washing-up liquid)
4) Animals are not allowed in the shelter
