"We spent two nights at the gites with a group of 20. We don't speak French, but we wanted to see Mont Saint Michel. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. We needed sheets , and the cleaning fee did not seem optional, so the cost was higher than I anticipated from the ad. The gites were clean and secure. There was ample dishes for cooking and meals. "We are a 4 generation family that stayed 5 days and had the most wonderful time. The house comfortably accommodated 14 of us ranging in age from 2 - 79 years. The views are amazing and there is a large yard with a trampoline and swing set that entertained our younger ones for many hours. The 2 kitchens are well equipped and it is a nice walk to the lovely village. I highly recommend this rental."

"One of the beds on second floor was uncomfortable, trip hazards for young children, particularly in kitchen area. On the plus side, the chateau is very well equipped, beautiful crockery, dishes and bowls. Stunning location, historic chateau with ancient aspects. We really enjoyed our stay and thank Katia and Gerhard for their attention to detail. We thoroughly recommend this property and its location. "
