"There were seven adults and three children staying and as there was a sink in each bedroom and three bathrooms there was no queing to get ready in the morning. The very large conservatory was where a lot of time was spent, mainly due to the pool table. It was a very warm period and it was nice to sit and eat under one of the trees in the large garden. The garden was ideal for children to play in. Ideal location to visit Mont Saint Michel and Villedieu is a charming town. Overall very practical...

"We loved the house. Everything inside was high quality. We loved the inside pool, the enormous dining table and the view with the Mont Saint Michel far away. The only little minus was the location « near » a high way (which we heard sometime). But nothing terrible."

"Off the beaten track but town only 6 kms away by car. Towels - only one large and one small per person for the week - although washer and tumble dryer available, and cotton bedlinen. Very old house, including antique door fastenings, but cosy and there are plenty of chairs and sofas to lounge in for that late night beer or coffee. There are some nice grounds to wander, and an area where you can sit and admire a wonderful view across the farms and their fields. Please note that the bathroom...

"This is a very well run Gite with lots to do in the grounds and buildings. As it is a conversion of an old farmhouse it is a bit dark and some of the appliances are a bit dated - but it all works. There are loads of walks around the park and the old trails. As you are in the country there are the usual flies and bugs to contend with but those who love nature will feel right at home. We took our dog and it did not get on too well with the owners young Boxer dog (he was just a bit nosy vs angry)...

"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."
