It was perfect place to stay! Secluded, yet close to town. Was basically in middle of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, was able to visit all of the NPS places to see within the Scenic Riverways
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Very nice owners. We even took a look through Jody’s store in Eminence.
Everything about the Collier Cozy Cabin was spot on. Easy check-in. Full accommodations, Kitchen, bath, Laundry, etc.The gravel driveway is a bit steep but had no problems navigating it. Very Quiet location. The covered porch was nice during the rain we had. Would certainly recommend to a friend.
We stayed 5 nights in this cabin and it was exactly what we were looking for! Very peaceful and secluded with great owners. We brought our SXS and as promised it had direct trail access to take you to eminence and anywhere else you might want to explore. If you are looking for something close to town but atill want your privacy than this is the place for you
Our stay was perfect for what we needed which is rest, reset and refreshment when not working. We were surrounded by nature. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Our stay was cut short because of heavy rains and storms and some roads being impassible to the cabin.
Had a wonderful time at this cabin. Cabin was well supplied with everything we needed and was very roomy. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed having a full kitchen, grill and washer/dryer. It was very wooded so not unexpectedly we did have multiple bugs in the cabin to kill each day but they were your run of the mill woods bugs and nothing harmful and no fault of the host, just part of nature :). Driveway was steep but our car did fine. You do have to cross a creek which we were surprised by on a county road but again, our car did fine, even after it rained. All in all, it was great and we wouldn't hesitate to book here again if in the area.
This was a great pick of a place to stay. Nice, well kept cabin at the top of a kind of steep driveway. Not really a problem for my wife's Jeep Renegade front wheel drive. Secluded, quiet spot on 200 acres and park land beyond. Trying to escape a little late Summer Texas heat and succeeded as a couple of mornings hit upper 30s early October. We went to Alley Springs, Blue Spring, Rocky Falls , hiked the loop on the property, and went to Shawnee Creek Campground to hike around to try and view wild horses. None there. I think we went too late in the day. We ate at a couple of places in Eminence and shopped there. We had a good time. Friendly people. We used the WI - FI in the cabin for internet. The AC unit in the window is also a heater. The info you need is in the notebook. Thanks Jody and Perry.

Had a great time and will return! Jodi was a great host and we visited her lovely shop in town which we highly recommend to you as well. Found one of the four herds of wild horses while in town.
Host was quite welcoming. The locale was absolutely beautiful. All the amenties were available, but some might need updating, particularly the mattress and shower.
Collier Cabin was a perfect base camp for our family-of-two Ozark National Scenic Riverway adventure (kayaking on the Jacks Fork - Alley Spring to Eminence, swimming at Rocky Falls and Johnson's shut-ins SP, visiting Prairie Hollow Gorge and Barn Hollow Gorge natural areas, plus we found the Shawnee Creek wild horses). Loved the setting in the woods - the sounds at night by a fire and birds in the morning with coffee. Inside, plenty of room and all the amenities, very comfortable, and the hosts were quite hospitable before and during our stay.

Such a cute little place, secluded, and quiet. It has everything you need. We will be back again!
We absolutely loved this place! Everything was so perfectly curated from the art work to the light fixtures to the extremely comfortable furniture. They have an epic DVD collection along with Direct TV. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen too. Its also the perfect distance from town. Still very close but very secluded. Even the little road to get to the property is charming. We cant wait to stay here again!
We enjoyed staying at the cabin. I feel like we got the real Ozark Mountain experience by driving down the gravel road, fording the stream and driving up the steep Hill. I’m glad we had our Subaru Forester. Mazda Miata wouldn’t have made it! We were visiting my wife’s cousin and her husband who live near eminence
Beautiful cabin surrounded with woods, we saw three turtles and made friends with lots of bugs. We were a lot closer to the owners than I thought, but they were very kind people. They were very active on communication as well!! Would recommend
This spot was awesome. Out side of town,(secluded),still with in 15min of Eminence. Complete to meet general household needs. Comfortable. You are out in the woodsabd thats exactly what you get. The gost os aweaome, kind, and responsive if needed. We had a great time!

There really isn't anything negative to say about this cabin. If I had to pick a negative, I wish it were closer to water but it is still only a 15 min drive from water. I could go on and on about the positives of this cabin! First off, it is bigger than the pictures show. I'm not saying it is huge but we were pleasantly surprised at the size. It is decorated super cute, it is clean, and well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen supplies, towels, washer/dryer, extra bedding, etc. The outside also has a seating for both eating and lounging as well as a fan and items you may need outdoors. The stained glass was beautiful as well. There is also a small binder explaining property highlights, area highlights, rules, all the information you may need. It is a pets paradise, they even give you a spot to allow your pups to run out some energy. The owners are on site but aside from them driving by occasionally we were completely left alone. We enjoyed our stay and will definately be back more than once.
