We had dinner in the restsurant the nights we were there and the food was far more better than the Hilton . The scenery was stunning and it is so peaceful a great place to unwind and relax.they also have a actives ie fishing shooting,horse riding never done them yet but i think you would have to call then to arrange these actives. The train station is about 10 mins away at Tweedbsnk so Edinburgh was quite easy to get to and from.free parking at the station . A perfect place for a relaxing break.easy beautiful landscape and history. "

"Quiet location but only 20 mins to Berwick upon Tweed with Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick within easy reach. Bedroom was huge with a comfy bed. Staff were pleasant. Good choice for breakfast and their evening meals were excellent. Restaurant gets very busy so its advisable to book a table. "
