Baseball Weekend
Great place, great location!! We were 20-25 minutes or less from anywhere we may have played a baseball game all weekend. Will and Sandra were wonderful hosts!! Thanks for a great weekend!!

Horrible Stay
The check-in process was unpleasant because the key pad didn’t work and we had to call and wait for this person to tell us how to get in. A person who lived there asked us were we moving in and told me that the apartment building was horrible and had so many issues. We woke up early to a hot place. The AC was not working. We began corresponding with who we thought was the owner earlier around 8am or so. They advise they would send someone. We called and text and still no one came. They kept asking for pictures of the thermostat. We called Vrbo we asked us to wait for the host to find a solution. We called again and the person said maintenance was coming and they were going to send portable AC unit. Then she said they didn’t have one. She would not find us anywhere else to stay or give us our money back. We called Vrbo again only to be kept on hold and hung up on. We found out the person we were talking to was not the host. She claimed to be the property manager but I do not believe and will be going to the main office to verify information and file a complaint. I cannot believe they took our money and we had to suffer the heat. There was a heat advisory warning in place and it was 80 degrees inside! We left at 3am because we couldn’t sleep in the heat. I would never stay with this host again and will not book with Vrbo again. We took a chance with Vrbo but never again.

This was a great condo for our two nights in Birmingham. It is in walking distance of a number of restaurants and a grocery store. The rooms were a nice size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen has the basics, so if you want to cook, you’ll want to ask about what is available. The linens we pretty spartan. GPS doesn’t navigate Birmingham well.
