Really good hotel. Not central but well located if you have a car to access the surrounding areas and a short drive to the city. Staff are really helpful. Would recommend. Plenty of eateries within 5 minutes walk as well.

I liked the location. Close to food/shops but not so close traffic sounds were bad. Rooms were decent. No hand soap was given to us so we used the soap from the shower. We had picked this particular hotel based on location and the pool. We got there and the pool was a complete mess along with the whole patio area. When I checked in, they didn't mention the pool was closed for the season and had no idea it was closed. Its still 90 in Alabama this time of year. Thats the only thing my dad asked to do was chill out by the pool. So, that was disappointing big time.

When we checked in, James was wonderful! He was professional and very friendly. You have to pay to park which I find ridiculous! The breakfast is $30 a person and continental breakfast was $18 a person. I find that overpriced, especially when the hotel across 280 includes a good breakfast and happy hour with your registration! Lastly, a housekeeping person knocked loudly on our door at 8:00am when checkout is 11am. Not sure if we will stay there again.

Front desk staff was great. First day house cleaning came in, took my bath towel, didn’t leave a clean towel and nothing else. Told tge front desk but I came back too late and house cleaning had gone home. 2nd again no house cleaning and I to tell the front desk. House cleaning did come in to clean but left the bed unmade. To top it off the swimming pool was full of debris and water looked dirty and had a slight green color. I was here several years ago and it was not like this at all. Breakfast was at least decent.

Room was terrible worst double tree room was dated floors damp smelled awful like mildew on 4th floor. I will. E writing corporate great location next to summit and the staff was great but I wouldn’t stay again if it was free.
