Clean, safe, convenient, good breakfast, and comfortable room. Staff are efficient, friendly, and helpful. The decor of the rooms is getting a little long in the tooth. That said, I would stay there the next time I’m in the area.

Key wouldn't work, had to go back to desk to get another room. New room wasn't that great - air conditioning too loud, garbage truck outside (? at midnight), shower control was very tight. This hotel's best years were 25 years ago.

It was a fine stay, down side was the building was under repair so we could not access the pool, certain parts of the hotel was not completed and was not a good look.

When I booked the stay it said breakfast was included but it wasn't. They have great coffee available in the morning though! I would stay here again but make sure of what really is included for the price. They are renovating the pool area and that would be something to enjoy.

Great location and very clean. The deadbolt for my room wouldn’t work, so I called the front desk and asked for a solution. They sent 2 men up to try to fix it, but they couldn’t. They told me there weren’t any other rooms so I would just have to use the flip out metal backup. I’m a female who was traveling by herself, so that made me fairly uncomfortable. The facilities were nice, though, aside from that issue.

The staff was very friendly and engaging. Location has everything around it as far as food and convenience, however if we were in Birmingham for pleasure vs visiting family I would choose a more walkable location.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and well maintained. The only issue was the pool area. The indoor pool was cold and and the water did not look appealing. I chose because of the pool, but was unfortunately unable to ise.

We needed the room because of a early flight out of Birmingham the next morning. Upon arrival and entering the bathroom a roach came out of the sink. There were long hairs on the wall in the shower. I would stay here again. The beds were comfortable.
