"Food was great, service was excellent. Location of this hotel was fantastic! A night light somewhere on the floor near, or in, the bathroom (or both) would be helpful as the room is otherwise very dark. There are features in the room that there are no instructions for - you just have to guess. There’s no written information about the hotel, the room, or the area in the room. Everything is a QR code and requires wifi. I would rather talk to a human being or have printed information. A reasonably simple app on the TV would suffice."

"We had a good welcoming upon arrival. We extended our stay of one more night and the lady at front desk was super helpful when we talk over the phone and she was the same person who welcomed us on check in day. The room was spacious (we had a one bedroom suite) and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was super helpful with a variety of choices. The hotel is well located with view over mountains, near many shoppes, restaurants and the lake."

"This historic hotel is well located. Upon arrival we were not able to talk to anyone has they were short with staff and needed to come back 3 hours after we arrived in town. When it was time to check in, the person was nice and polite but beside this gentleman the other member of staff were not talktative or willing to do a smile or give a feeling that we were important. The room was comfortable and super clean with comfortable bed as well. We had a long balcony facing the street and we were concerned about the noise for the night but rest assure, at 10:00 PM it is quiet on the streets everywhere. The breakfast is included. The variety of the breakfast is vast with good choices of juices, coffee and more. The persons who worked for running the breakfast smooth, cleaning, etc... were super nice and smiley. The hotel has Only 5 spots for parking. The city has many options nearby and it is free from 5 PM to 10 AM"

"The room was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony had a fantastic view overlooking the Dachstein mountains. The location was also very convenient for exploring the area, especially Hallstatt, which was easy to reach by car. Parking was easy and convenient as well. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety of choices, and everything was enjoyable."

"We were a little disappointed on check in to be told we were not staying in the main hotel building but in an apartment block further up the street. We guessed this was because we were a party of three. It was a little odd as we had not read or been informed via Expedia this could be the case. Upon entering the apartment we could quickly see that the apartment was huge, tastefully decorated and well thought out. It just meant we had to walk back up the street for breakfast each morning, which was so worthwhile as it was very tasty with plenty of choice. It was a shame we didn’t use the main site’s facilities such as pool and indoor spa which would have been a bit of a faff but it was still all available to us. If you’re a couple I’m sure the rooms within the hotel are lovely. The town is picturesque and we really enjoyed our stay. Trips to the Eagles Nest and Kongissee lake are a must."

"Great location. Very good and extensive breakfast. Fresh fruit, various juices and great coffee options. Great Bavarian restaurant with beergarden next door. Our rooms had balconies and we saw mountain tops. Friendly staff and very clean and comfortable rooms."
