Clean hotel with friendly staff and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable and large and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The only issue is that the hotel was at one time deocorated with string lights. These lights no longer work, their cord is visible with broken and missing bulbs, and it appears it has been some time since they were operational. It would seem someone would take them down by now.

We woke up every morning and did a weather report as well as a cloud and cow report. The view of the mountain was so special - we loved seeing the cows come down the mountain at night. The sound of the local train and thin walls made it a bit noisy so if that would bother you ask for a room at the back of the building or expect to sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others no problem!

We were very pleased with our overnight stay here. It was just one night so we chose a family room for the four of us, including our two young adult children. The room was exactly as pictured except even more comfortable than expected! The balcony wrapped around two sides with stunning views. We enjoyed the convenience of the little beer garden restaurant right next-door. It was very convenient to get to Bertchesgaten for our morning tour.
