"We are just home from a lovely weekend at the hotel. We arrived tired and were met by a warm welcome and smiles from all the staff. From the cleaners to the restaurant, the bar and reception all of the staff were cheerful, helpful and polite. The view from the bar and restaurant is lovely and it was nice to have a drink in the evening looking at the lake. Will return. Very nice, restful stay."

"Danesfield House is a delight. The staff were all super helpful and welcoming. Dinner on the Terrace was stunning on a warm spring evening. The grounds are wonderful and I'd recommend a wander around them. And the spa facilities included in the room price was a bonus - the sauna and steam room especially. The room itself was relatively small but very comfortable, and the bathroom with a bath was great. The complementary toileteries were very luxurious. The only minor grumble was that I was surprised by instant coffee in the rooms."

"The food and staff service was excellent. The location was quiet and quaint, just a 5 minute walk to the River Thames. A great atmosphere in the sunny bear garden. However, our room and ensuite look tired and need refurbishment. Some areas of the dining room were very dusty such as the coffee machine and jam dispensers."

"This is such a frat place. Lovely rooms, great food and one of my favorite pubs at the front. 5 min walk to Thames walks..it’s perfect. Watch out for parking though as can be tricky"
