Vagabond Inn Bishop

"The room was comfortable. The heater worked well. The staff was OK but one guy was training. I think another girl that was new. I arrived before some other single person they got to their room which was right next-door to mine before I even got checked out she was very slow. Also, they do not disturb signs fall off all of the rooms. And I was put next to the storage room, which was really loud and one of the housekeepers was playing really loud music when I checked out some operatic music. The discount at Denny’s was great. I was surprised how good the Denny’s was. I went there for dinner."

"The room was very clean with laminate wood flooring instead of carpet. Air conditioning worked well. The TV was not working and the staff tried to fix it but couldn’t so gave us another room. For breakfast they had a waffle making station which was good. We didn’t use any of the amenities so can’t comment on those."

"This is a funky updated 50’s motel. Good price and a great location . We booked a queen room with a kichenette. Freezer was all frosted and not usable, but room was clean and worked well for us. We were pleasantly surprised by a friendly motel cat . Will stay again"

"Loved my quiet stay here as I was in desperate need of a warm bed after a long backpacking trip. A little inconvenient to have to go to another motel or theirs a few blocks away to pick up the key and check in, but once I finally got back and got into bed I was pretty happy. Just a little bummed next morning went to eat my pastry from Erick Schatz bakery and it was covered with hundreds of ants. The room was super cute though with a kitchenette and powerful strong shower. Would stay here again just hope no ant infestation."
