"The Ferry Inn is a combination hotel/pub with breakfast included on our booking. We ate dinner both nights in the pub restaurant. The food was good & they had several choices for each course. The location was excellent for the Scrabaster/Stromness ferry & it was easy to navigate to Kirkwall & all the sights."

Upon arrival was a friendly welcome and tour of the property which was modernly styled, very spacious, and immaculate. "This place is a dream! It has a large and beautiful library that guests are welcome to use. The breakfast is delicious and provides variety of your choice. The accommodations are not only beautiful, but also very spacious. There are 2 windows in the bedroom that we could open to let in a cool breeze. The bathroom is incredible. The history of the home is truly amazing as well. The host, John, was very helpful. I can't recommend this enough. We didn't want to leave. "
"We had an incredible 2 night stay here. Fyona and Colin went above and beyond to make us feel at home and we would 100% stay there again! Breakfast was delicious, the room was cozy but just what we needed and the neighbourhood was quiet. It's about a 20 minute walk to the shops in Kirkwall which was so perfect. Can't recommend enough!"
