"Clean"

"We chose this hotel because of the history behind things. We fell in love with the place our first trip to Hot Springs and couldn’t wait to stay here the second time. First off, parking is entirely sketchy and horrible unless you have a compact car as you can even turn around, but also the entire garage is crumbling. Literally. Then the hotel, had this horrible mildew smell throughout the entire place. There were hidden fees for amenities, which weren’t even available due to construction going on. Which is never ending from what we’ve truly gathered. The workers (as in construction workers) are also SUPER sketchy and were roaming halls at all times of the night and even at one point followed us to our room until they realized a third person in our group behind us then acted like they were trying to get into “their” room which was our second room. Upon telling the front desk, the lack of customer service from the jump only continued with the comment of “what you want me to do” The rooms were so gross. The shower still had hair from another stay in it. The mold was unbearable everywhere. The sheets were stained. I can go on and on but writing this brings the anxiety back. It’s already taken me months to be able to write this. Honestly, I hope this review saves anyone from booking here. Just visit but invest your money and time elsewhere. I’ve never left a bad review, but this one cannot go without warning others. "

"Property is old and run down. All the paint was chipped off the hot tub and bath. Bed was perhaps the most uncomfortable one I have ever slept on and made a horrible noise anytime you turned over. Last but not least we stayed on the bottom floor and whenever someone would slam their room door the whole building would shake. Would not recommend this place at all."

"Property looks decent from the front but as you drive back it gets worse. The room wasn't the cleanest and there was a horrible leak coming from the room above that was leaking into our rooms bathtub. By the look of the ceiling the leak has been going on for sometime so I could only assume there was mold. I didn't know when I made this reservation that this hotel is a section 8 hotel. You would think this would be mentioned when making the reservation."

"The room was perfect and the bed and pillows were the best ever"

"Seclusion was the cutest place! We wanted a quiet place on the water with a hot tub and a boat dock as we love to spend most of our time fishing. This place was perfect! The only note I have is that the parking is a bit tight for anyone hauling a boat with trailer but we made it work. The hot tub was peaceful and we enjoyed overlooking the water and watching the planes flying low overhead. Donna was a great host and was super helpful when our original stay was hijacked by the snow storm last month. 10/10 will be recommending to family/friends and hope to return again soon!"
