We reserved this hotel because it was not far from Narbonne and had easy parking, but we didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say, it exceeded our expectations. Superb service from the front desk, delicious and full breakfast, very comfy bed and strong air conditioning. It was the perfect stop on our road trip.

This was clearly the nicest place we stayed on our bike trip from Carcassonne to Sete. The host couple, Natalie and Sebastien, could not have more welcoming or helpful. Their quiet little chambres de hotes is very close to the Canal du Midi path and very relaxing. The swimming pool was a delight after a day on the bike and they served us beers poolside (extra charge). Their extremely friendly pup, Violette, was an unexpected delight. The Chateau lies gently uphill from the town center, and is a mid 19th century building beautifully restored and expanded on the the premises, which are surround by vineyards. Beautiful, calm, and beautifully cared for, our visit exceeded our expectations. The staff was knowlegable, spoke good English, and catered to our every need. Dinner at their restaurant was wonderful - and we enjoyed a wine tasting prior to dinner, one of a planned series of events to make the chateau a center of both...

This is a delightful bed and breakfast close to the Canal du Midi. The host is a very kind person who will make sure that your stay is just right. Highest recommendation.

Chateau Castigno is located in the absolutely stunning area completely picturesque. Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!

We loved staying here. Charlotte was a delight as was Chloe. They were very helpful throughout our stay to insure we were more than comfortable. I would highly recommend this charming boutique hotel!

Wonderful French chateau with a wonderfully friendly staff. We extended our stay here due to the charm and ambience as we head to Spain for the eclipse. The room is perfect, with the best bed we have experienced this trip and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was also great. Spectacular value for money. I highly recommend a stay here.
