This was the best experience, the scenery was beautiful, staff was great and friendly, everything from check in/out was made easy. We definitely plan to stay here again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

The dome was extremely clean, mountain view is fantastic, staff super sweet and friendly. Super scenic route to the Nest and down to the casinos, central city, idaho springs.

We’ve been staying at this place for a while now, and we absolutely love it. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, from the front desk to the bar and kitchen. The room we stayed in had one of the best views we’ve ever had, and they truly elevated the glamping experience to a whole new level. We highly recommend this place, and we’re already planning our next trip with family or friends. Thank you all at the staff for making our stay so unique and memorable.

Place was clean and stayed nice and warm throughout the cold night. In a great location with lots of great views. We did a 6 mile hike about 15 minutes north at Maryland Mountain and then we used the showers and watched the sunset such a beautiful view before heading into town for some gambling!

We loved our stay! it’s a beautiful glamping spot that really feels like something special! The staff was wonderful and took great care of us during our stay. We especially loved Raven, you all should give that woman a raise, she continuously went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of in the cafe and she was the only one handling the bar and waiting on folks for food all day on Saturday while we were there. The domes are so cool and we had a lovely mountain view. As with any new business there was some room for improvement. There does need to be more waitstaff and kitchen staff in the cafe, Having an adults only side to the deluxe mountain views or regular mountain views would be better since there is very little insulation in the domes we could hear everything from the other domes including some very unhappy and rambunctious kids. If insulation cannot be improved I think it would be best to have a family friendly zone and adult only zone so folks like my partner and I who book stays like this can enjoy peace and quiet of the mountains. It would be great to see more vegetarian and gluten free options available even just offering sour dough and a plant based protein would help those that have intolerances.

Idaho Springs and Black Hawk offer a unique location and breathtaking views. It was a great place to visit.. The only minor complaint is the AC unit dripping on the bed.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest in Black Hawk. The dome itself is beautifully designed, brand new, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to breathtaking mountain views right from the bed was an unforgettable experience. The property is pet-friendly, which made traveling with our dogs easy and stress-free. We also appreciated the reliable phone service, strong Wi-Fi, and smart TV for relaxing in the evenings. If you're looking for a unique Colorado getaway with incredible scenery, modern amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere, The Nest is a fantastic choice. We would happily stay here again.

This fledgling property has lots of potential! If you're booking in the next few months, just be patient... they're working-out the kinks. Rest assured, this place is COOL if you're looking for a unique experience with gorgeous sunrise (and sunset) views from atop a Colorado ridgeline. We'll be back, for sure.

Our room was very clean and had a great view. However the wifi never worked and when it did it was very spotty. They have a sign in the bathroom that hot water for shower is limited to around 7 minutes which is VERY accurate. We didnt see that and were upset that we had to rush to shower and wait for it to recharge before the next person could shower.

The rooms itself were cool. However, they should be for younger folk. The 2nd bed had STEEP stairs to get up to the loft. 2 of my family members are physically unable to climb vertical stairs, so I ended up going up. Scary to get down! Need to have a way that the steps are able to pull out. Because of the 4th of July affected their supplies of food, they hardly had anything to eat. It also wasn't ready at 4pm. It was 5:30 before they got done cleaning. Trash wasn't emptied from prior guest either. Cool place, needs tweaking .
