"We stayed while our Black Mountain home was closing. The surroundings - woods, mountains - were perfection. We just needed to relax and the cottage - extremely cozy with a full kitchen, leather furniture we melted in, comfortable beds, updated bathroom - satisfied our wants. I had to work remotely and never experienced an internet issue. Ingles and all shopping were minutes away, so although you feel isolated, activity is within reach.Also, our dog loved exploring the area. We had to extend our stay twice and Gerald was most agreeable.If we ever visit again, the cottage will be our first choice."

"This was a great place to stay for the night so that we could wake up where we wanted to be for the day. The hotel was completely clean and comfortable, and we got a good night's rest. We felt safe and secue. I don't think I would stay here for a long vacation, as it really doesn't have any amenities. BUT, since we only planned to arrive late at night and leave early in the morning, it was great! If you're looking to arrive at Biltmore when then open, this is a great place to stay! Affordable price. Right in the middle of downtown Black Mountain - a charming town."
