"The cottage at Le Maine was absolutely breathtaking! Surrounded by forest and flowers each morning was like waking up in a dream. My husband, baby and I enjoyed early morning walks to the village bakery only 10 minutes away, evening swims in the stunning pool and playing in the garden with the chickens. Catherine and Max are amazing hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend!!!"

"I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful B&B! The building is stunning, set in a wonderfully peaceful location with original features enhanced by both old and new furniture. "We were told there were many open restaurants in area. It was 8pm and only a pizza place and 2 table places were open. We were a bit disappointed in paying 10 euros pp for breakfast with stale cereal and/or rice cakes."

"Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"
