"The house and location were perfect. We had an amazing stay. The water was warm- a little rockier than preferred, but was still very nice. We celebrated an engagement and a birthday! It was lovely. The owners were in quick and constant communication to make sure we were able to get in with no issues and immediately contacted us regarding “left behinds.” "

"It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely. The screen on the door needed repair when we arrived, but I contacted the host to inform them that it was like that when we arrived, so all was good. We enjoyed the beach, Oscoda, Tawas, and Alpena are all nearby and have lots to do and see. From Lumberman’s Monument, Iargo Springs, Kayaking, and the Sky Bridge, all within a couple hours… it can’t be beat. "

"We’ve never experienced a sandy beach quite like this…stunning, quiet, and incredibly private. Beds are comfortable, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, and the AC works brilliantly. Nothing better than baking in the sun and playing in the water and then returning to an icy cold safe haven where you can shower, make a sandwich, and then slide into some cool sheets for a much needed (and soul-restoring) nap. There’s an epic fire pit, sturdy and comfortable lounge chairs for reading/tanning/napping on the beach, and a bunch more small details that really helped round out the incredible experience we had. Y’all better treat this host and this property like royalty, because I hope this stays a VRBO forever. Absolutely can’t wait to go back someday for an even longer visit. "

"The beach and house were amazing. The stairs look scary but can take breaks and it’s a good workout! Definitely highly recommend this place plus the beach was all sand at the water entry. Completely gorgeous to have your coffee and watch the sunrise while the kids still are sleeping. We were lucky to catch a rainbow without rain over the water as well. Perfect place for bliss and peacefulness. (Totally fits the name)."
