Govetts Leap lookout cottage

This four-bed room dwelling enjoys spectacular views of the mountains.
It is blessed with copious trees, native bushes, flowers and a diverse bird life that visit the extensive garden.

With self check-in system, guests are purely by themselves to enjoy the retreats inside the nature while being comfortably accommodated with fully furnished house and a sauna, massage machines.

The deck offers a dining area to enjoy an uninterrupted view of the mountains and wildlife.

The house is close to the national parks. You can walk to various popular look outs. Blackheath center, restaurants, bars... are a few minutes drive away.

All linen, towels, firewood, bathroom amenities, and complimentary light breakfast are included.

Great stay in the blue mountains

Excellent location in a very quiet area with view towards Govetts leap. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. Two bathrooms is great. A little cold at night however we were there in the middle of Winter so to be expected!

Cosy get-away

This cosy get-away was perfect for my family! Being surrounded by trees and having a lovely view of the mountains, it really felt like we were away from everything, which is exactly what we wanted! Was also very close to town so very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

If the weather is arctic as it was for us, there couldn’t be a more comfortable place in the mountains to hang out. Highly recommended by us.

Perfect getaway

Did the job well

Great location overlooking the mountains. Kim is great to work with. Could have been 5⭐ but for a few things. Great selection of wine and spirit glasses, but more everyday drinking glasses would help. Whilst really flexible sleep arrangements there is room to improve quality of a couple mattresses. Handled the cold well, but would suggest space heaters in each bedroom rather than the fan heaters (and perhaps electric blankets 😀). All-in-all we had a great weekend with our grown up family. And would be happy to recommend this Stayz and would happily return.

Not what it seems

Booked for 4 adults ( Mum's weekend away) because the property had 4 rooms and we could each have our own room. When we arrived 2 rooms were locked including the ensuite. We contacted the owner who organised a cleaner to come and open the rooms . The only way she would do this is we paid for another extra 5 guests that did not exist. Because the house sleeps 9 the only way to use all bedrooms is to pay for 9 people regardless of how many people you have booked for. Very expensive, not worth the money.

Gorgeous views, spacious but cosy accommodation

4 of us stayed here for a weekend away. The house is spacious and toasty warm, with all the essentials you need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Views are spectacular from the deck and kitchen/dining area. So conveniently located to all the typical blue mountains attractions, and fabulous cafes just a few minutes drive from the house. We loved it.
