"We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family."

"Beautiful renovation of this historic building. We went for the quiet and the beauty of the surroundings as well as the opportunity to walk and bike the trail. Our 3 nights there exceeded our expectations. Staff were all very friendly and helpful"

"Drug deals in and out of the building. Windows busted out. Crack heads all over the property. People running a u know what house ran out of the room next to us. Walked into a room with holes in the wall. Bugs everywhere even on the bed. Check in area window was even busted. Room that serves breakfast haha was closed. I walked in the room looked around and walked out. Still waiting for my refund lol we’ll see. Pictures are not true at all on the site "

"I like it. I would book again but in warmer weather for me. I enjoy the scenry, the openness and the quietness. One suggestion, maybe i overlooked it but state that cell phone connectivity is low due to area. If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing."

"A great rental facility with all the extras. Plenty of room and very well maintained. Ample parking for everyone. We had a party of 16 and everyone was impressed with the accommodations. We plan to return in the near future. NOTE: Please conduct a pre and post inspection for continuity. This property deserves the best!"

"This property provides a wonderful riverside stay on the New River right on the river with easy access and easy parking right in front of the cabin efficiency. Close access to to the Whitehorne Boat Ramp for those the need a ramp as well as the scenic McCoys Falls right up Rt 625. Communication and instructions was excellent to plan our arrival and stay for the weekend.We look forward to coming back again this summer."
