"This was our first experience of a holiday in the UK , The resort was in a lovely location and it had a few facilities for the children. Parking was difficult as it was busy, but we managed. We walked to our chalet , the chalets we past on the way look very well kept and clean on the outside. When we arrived at ours it was covered in spiders webs , the bench and picnic table outside had not even been wiped. As we entred , it seemd like they had new carpets,. "A truly lovely place to stay, moments away from Falmouth beach. The staff were wonderful with reception team especially making you feel as if nothing was too much trouble. We were originally placed in an attic room but moved into another (as available) with grace and speed. The hotel is full of nooks and crannies, the bar is impressively well stocked, the food really tasty - across the outlets - and the hydrotherapy session is not too be missed. Genuinely a delight."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the condition of the tennis courts. We specifically looked for a hotel with a tennis court and the photos on the website looked great. Unfortunately the courts seem to have been neglected. Only one had a net and the surface was really not safe to play on. I think the misleading photos need removing from the website, or the courts need attention. Other than that we had a great stay. The gym and pool areas are great."

"All the staff were welcoming and very helpful: top marks, as was the food/drink offerings and opportunity to pre-book on-site parking. The lingering musty carpet smell throughout was off-putting and the window openings in our room were limited (probably for safety reasons), but this meant the ledges and tops of the windows (and the curtain rail) were blackened with dust and grime - not a pretty outlook for guests. I appreciate that this aspect of room cleaning could not be undertaken by the daily cleaning crew, but couldn't the maintainence team undertake a schedule of unlocking the windows in say, 5 or more vacant rooms a day to enable all the windows and curtain rails to be cleaned properly (and carpets) until the jobs were completed. Give them a bonus if the jobs are completed satisfactorily and ahead of schedule. I am not a moaner, just giving honest feed back as requested."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and clean with plenty of room for our family of four plus a large dog, opening out onto a small patio area and garden. The pool was small but welcoming and a treat for the children. The breakfast was outstanding and all staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable amd satisfied with our stay. Highly recommend."

"The only thing wrong is that the hotel needs upgrading, there were stains on the carpet in reception, as well as in the bar area, in some of the rooms as well. if you are an older guest or have mobility problems the room that we were in, had a bath, with a shower over but I could not access, no room to sit on the toilet as the basin was too close to the toilet and had a nasty crack in it. No lift to access our room, just a staircase which I have a job to use as I have severe arthritis. My fault I should of asked about disabled facilities."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mount View Hotel and would highly recommend it. The free parking for guests was a huge bonus and something we really appreciated. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, with a great selection and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and efficient, always happy to help with a smile. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it easy to explore Penzance and the surrounding attractions. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay with our family. The value for money is outstanding and hard to beat. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!"

"Everything from start to finish was perfect We were greeted by friendly and ready to help staff members at the reception, nothing was too much trouble for them. Then we had a lovely spa treatment which helped us relax after a busy week. The hotel design and feel is very beautiful, the food was super delicious, the best calamari we ever had. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It definitely left a memory in our hearts, all the staff members made us feel very welcome and cared for. Strongly recommend and we will definitely come back!"
