King Robert Hotel
8/10 Good
"It looks a bit dull from the outside. But the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. It is next to the Robert the Bruce monument and visitor centre and has lovely views out the back of the hotel. The hotel food was surprisingly good. There was a pipe band practicing upstairs when we were there and the staff took us up to watch. It was a highlight of our trip to Scotland."

"The grounds was clean and beautiful, everywhere in the hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very polite and friendly. We stayed in the executive room, good but it would have done really well with a fridge."

"Ideally situated for the castle and jail up hill and the town down hill. Room was comfortable, large and quiet at the back of the hotel. Parking was busy at the front of the hotel but we parked easily at the back. Breakfast was excellent: both cooked and cold selections available."
Stirling Court Hotel

"We stayed for one night to break a journey, very friendly staff food in bar very good. Rooms very dated and furniture old but it was acceptable, very quite location good nights sleep. Windows in the bed room opened lovely and wide so loads of fresh air on a hot night. Wonderful view of the Wallace monument. Did not have breakfast as early start.Loads of parking on site and not charged if you entered your reg at reception."

"Lovely stay at this hotel. Really enjoyed the pool and spa. Restaurant food was delicious as were the cocktails. Room was clean, spacious and had all amenities."

"Beautiful place. Very rustic place. Just be aware there is no A/C. But we opened the window and used a fan they provided. Bed is very firm."
