"The Colessio is perfectly situated for exploring the historic old town and castle and for venturing down the hill to the town centre. I cannot fault anything from walking into a light and comfortable reception to leaving after a tasty and filling Scottish breakfast after one of the most comfortable night's sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. The bed was just perfect as was the room and its amenties."

"First room the window wouldn’t shut so was cold. Got moved to second room which was better. Because we got moved the staff member hadnt programmed our new key for the 2 nights so couldn’t get back into room. Staff members were helpful. Plenty parking. 6minute walk to the kelpies"

"• Staff were so welcoming when we arrived (specifically the lovely lady behind the reception). • Rooms decorated very nicely and were very clean. Really spacious which was perfect for us having our 3 year old and dog with us. • Location was 10/10 perfect. Stirling castle & William Wallace monument not even 20 minutes down the road. With the battle of Bannockburn memorial site right next to the hotel, it truly couldn’t have been a better location. • Travelling with dogs was easy, the staff are very dog loving and there was a super cute little water station out the front of the hotel. Walks around the Bannockburn battle site were lovely, with lots more fields attached surrounding the area making it easy to entertain our dogs. • We travelled with our 3 year old and found a lovely park 20 minute walk from the hotel. The only minor let down for us was the walls are super thin and unfortunately we could hear everyone’s conversations and people walking about above us. Overall we 100% will be returning! Highly recommend! Thankyou!!!"

"The staff were extremely helpful and understanding. The room was clean but a bit cold. They immediately brought me a portable heater and all was well. The buffet was full of variety. Had a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend."

"Great location, wonderful vibe, fair pricing. The building is very old and has a great atmosphere, incredible lobby bar and the lobby is well decorated, but there is not much for refinements, its a great spot, and would stay again, but dont expect 5 star."
