We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age."

"The hotel is easy to find and parking is not a problem. The staff are very welcoming and registration was simple and efficient. The room I had was massive, and very comfortable. Warm . The only drawback was the noise from the street outside all night long. However, the hotel does prove earplugs which I could have used. The breakfasts were first class, it's very rare to get a hot breakfast from a buffet style restaurant. But they have mastered it, The rooms themselves were warm, clean and comfortable, but a little tired. With patches of carpet a but bare... But then , the price of the room is definitely budget and still very well worth it. I hope to be back."

Like all new things, there's ongoing works which is great to see. It didn't impinge on my stay whatsoever and I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff are the stand out customer experience for me."

"A lovely hotel which we will use again when visiting the Lake District. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Michael, who was always ready with recommendations and advice. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with a comfortable supportive bed for a great nights sleep after a days walking. Breakfast time was spectacular even before you sat down, with magical views from the breakfast room over to the misty hills in the distance. The breakfasts themselves were equally wonderful, freshly cooked to order, home-made flapjacks, loads of fresh fruit. The hotel is easy to reach off the A66 and there is good car parking on the grounds (an important factor in Keswick). Keswick and Derwentwater are an easy 10-15 downhill stroll from the hotel. A wonderful hotel, thank you very much for such a super stay."

"My first Ibis, probably not the last. It was clean and comfortable and the hot breakfast option was good. Centrally located so it was probably noisy on the side facing Botchergate but they do provide complementary earplugs, my room overlooked a private car park so the earplugs were not required but were used at the Blues Festival."
