"We paid for 5 studio suite rooms, but upon arrival the weather was very bad. A tornado took the power out. Of course there was no blame to the hotel. Our keys would not be able to work and therefore we couldn't check in. We were told by the kind staff on site to contact the managers or to leave my number and they would reimburse us for the rooms. 3 days passed and I did not receive a phone call so I called. I spoke to a very rude manager and was basically treated like I was bothering her with my questions as to how I can go about getting a refund. She obviously didn't know or was having a bad day and took it out on me. No problem... except that you are in the hospitality business and I have a choice where I want to receive that hospitality. Therefore 1 star review and I will contine to file a claim until I receive my money back."

"I was traveling solo therefore safety is a priority. Location felt safe, staff was pleasant, room was clean and breakfast was decent. I would recommed/stay again. "

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have the most unique breakfast we have ever seen. In addition to the regular waffle, cereal, yogurt, pastry fare, they also had breakfast burrito type eggs, macaroni and cheese, egg McMuffins, and hamburgers with toppings!!"

"The motel was changing to a Clarion, in the process of remodeling so the property was in a disarray. The room was descent, but certainly not up to a 9.2 standard. "

"Friday night the hotel lost all power for about 3 and a half hours. Not the properties fault but offered nothing in the way of a discount on that room night. The inconvenience is unacceptable."

"Not the hotels fault... Major storm came thru late evening and took down trees, fences, and the HVAC on the roof of the hotel, which then somehow ripped a gas line. Near 11:30pm, maintenance pounded on the door telling us to vacate our room and meet in the lobby. After we managed to find our way down stairs (no assistance) and waiting 20-30 minutes for some information, we were told that all was clear and we could return to our room... No power, heat, AC. Power was restored around 8:00am, but no hot water. Eventful night and a story to tell."
