The hotel room was moldy. We were given a room up a flight of stairs.Hauling our luggage and other items was difficult. They could have given us a room on the ground floor.A frequent guest said that she would not return.Please do not share our name with hotel or on line.

The rooms are a little outdated but they are cozy and clean. This motel was very convenient to shopping and dining in the town of Blowing Rock. We really enjoyed our stay- I would book here again.

The location was excellent. We were easily able to walk to dinner on Main Street. We love the pretty gardens and seating areas with fire tables. The room was comfortable and it was so nice to be able to park right outside our door.

The gardens in the middle of the property were absolutely spectacular. Also outdoor sitting areas are situated throughout to relax and enjoy your stay even more!

Liked the location. Liked the price. The room was comfortable, although the carpet was worn. Disliked the sink and tub did not drain well. Told staff upon checkout. Overall a nice girls trip.

Not so great!

Run down, dirty and smelly carpet, room service consisted of only making the bed and replacing the towels. There was no coffee for the Kuerig and the “communal” coffee pot on the patio was empty! Would not stay there again.

This is a very quaint and comfortable little motel. If you like nostalgia, this is the place for you. It is a throwback to the old style motels. The room was clean and the property was well maintained and quiet. Easy to walk to the shops, park and restaurants in downtown Blowing Rock. The only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the pillows are flat. We would definitely return for another stay!
