"The Wonder view Inn, was a perfect set up for our two night stay. The shuttle for Acadia comes to the compound to pick anf drop off, though the timing is not always convenient or as per regular schedule like on a july4th weekend so a car is a must in this area. A few inns share the same lobby/ reception area and so you have a short walk to the reception area where they have fresh coffee brewing for the guests and a cool gift shop. The lobby a seating area and bar off to the side and the set up is like something from the 80s, really nice. We were pressed for time so did not use the outdoor pool or the indoor pool. The room itself, all of them on one floor, with parking right in front and a small deck/ balcony off the room. We saw the fireworks sitting on the deck. The water pressure in the shower is low but the room and bathroom were clean with good quality soap, hand wash and shampoo etc. We were afraid to use the coffee machine in the room since social media has shown us the alternate use for such equipment by some folks so we stuck to the coffee in teh reception area. There is a restaurant on site (the Looking Glass restaurant), where my husband and kid picked up some bagels for breakfast and they are an expensive deal but you will find breakfast options within walking and driving distance of the compound of inns. I would defnitely go back because it had a quaint resort like vibe. The Blue Nose Inn is the other one in the same complex and the Hampton Inn."
