Trillium cabin is a peaceful retreat that was just right for my 3 adult children and I. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to crickets and watching the stars. We were in the area for a family event and the cabin was just the right size for us to make a quick meal or relax after meeting up with relatives. Only about 45 easy minutes to Acadia National Park.

My partner and I came to Blue Hill for our honeymoon and had an amazing stay at Trillium. It was cozy, clean, perfectly located to the town of Blue Hill and Acadia National Park. Adam is a wonderful host and was super responsive and helpful during our stay.
We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for what we needed - close to town, yet with privacy.
We enjoyed watching the swallows in the morning over the blueberry barrens.
We brought a small fan, which was nice for upstairs air movement.

Trillium Cottage is a good place to stay in a beautiful area of Maine. The property is clean and very well equipped for a short or bit longer stay. The location is very convenient to Blue Hill and other sites on the Peninsula.
Contact with the owner was efficient and friendly.
We will be back.

We stayed here two nights during our road trip from Minnesota. Good location with some great restaurants near by. Cute coffee shop right across the street with delicious breakfast sandwiches! Each night we saw quite a few deer in the backyard and lots of turkeys! Cute and beautiful spot!

This place is quite small and dainty. Perfect for a getaway retreat or business trip. Close to blue hill. There’s a cafe across the street. Super good dessert. Yannis pizza is within walking distance. Great little place to stay in all weather.

We found the cozy cottage to be very inviting, clean, and comfortable. The location was great as well, since we like being close to civilization, i.e. the Co-op, Y, coffee shop, etc. I appreciated Adam’s quick responses to communications. I would highly recommend.

The cabin is just the right size for two. My wife and I enjoyed how clean everything was. We were also pleasantly surprised by all the amenities provided. The washer and dryer were quiet, which makes a huge difference. The cabin was cozy and all the details were outstanding. We highly recommend the biscuits at Humblebee Cafe (right across the street) and Blue Hill Mountain!

We had an excellent stay. The cottage is gorgeous. We admired the craftsmanship and wood details. Bed was comfortable. Everything was well appointed and clean. Very new. Beautiful views out the back and great big windows to enjoy them. Great location to town and Blue Hill Fair. Joy to communicate with as well.

This cottage is so lovely and comfortable. We stayed with our 4 year old and had the best time. The living room looks over a field full of deer and birds and all the furniture is comfy. Blue Hill is an adorable town with great brewery/restaurants, a co-op grocery store, and small businesses. It’s 50 minutes from Acadia National Park and 20 from Deer Isle so lots of outdoor adventure options around. I highly recommend this space for a getaway!

We found ourselves visiting Blue Hill for a school event our daughters school was having at a nearby Waldorf school. The house was perfectly sized for our two nights. It had all amenities needed and many handmade features which added to this cabins charm. Highly recommend this property for couples or a family of three, it would be a snug fit for any more. The area was fantastic as well, cute downtown and close proximity to Acadia which we visiting one evening. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the Trillium cottage. It is such a nice comfortable place to rest after a day of sightseeing. We visited Bar Harbor, took the tour of Acadia, and went on a whale watch. Each evening we would return to the Trillum cottage and find a cozy place to rest and relax. In the evening and early morning we enjoyed watching the deer and wild turkey feeding in the field behind the cottage. What a view. One of our best experiences with VRBO. The host was also very quick to answer questions and help out whenever needed.

My family (myself, spouse, 16 yr old, 11 yr old) was very comfortable at this cozy cottage. We liked that it had a cafe across the street, was still in the country, and close to cute towns and Acadia National Park (about a 45 minute drive from Bar Harbor). Adam was great, very responsive, and left us with food and entertainment options in the area. Our son's shared the futon in the living room area, and it was mattress quality, no complaints from them at all. Great view of the woods and field from the bedroom and the washer and dryer was lovely. Good water pressure in the shower too, which was nice after a day of hiking. Was one of the best check out experiences as well as there were little to no cleaning expectations - just clean up after yourself and that was it. Will definitely consider this place to rebook when we are in the area again.
