"The exterior was run down and needed a new paint job or clean. The curb appeal was not what I expected. Very poor run down condition l. No breakfast available and the casino was empty. "

"The Breakfast was ok. I have had better. The eating area is quite small. Eggs were good but hashbrowns were not great. Meat selection did change the 2 days we were there. Also offered waffles cereal bagels fresh fruit mini muffins. the pool area was nice being indoors. Rooms are clean but the bed was on the hard side, I would give it 3 stars. Overall nice stay."

"We had to bring in our bikes in room because of the area, no toilet paper in room. "

"The staff here were incredibly helpful! We drove all night from Sea-Tac airport and they assisted with an early check in to ensure that we could get some rest to enjoy the beauty that Arcata had to offer! ."

"Classic but dated facility. Not many amenities. Caution bathrooms had clawfoot tubs with shower curtain, scary trying to get in and out. The town is great to visit and the staff were friendly."

"The room had been painted over at least a dozen times. The tissue holder is located in the wall and is metal reminding us of hotels from decades ago. The bathroom appeared to have suffered multiple casualties to the sheet rock and wall. The window had blood splatter on it and the adjacent wall which was not noticed until day light came through the window and illuminated the space. The exterior of the facility matches the ambiance of the interior with litter and cigarette butts at the rear...
