Cherry Log Mountain Adventure
Great stay! We enjoyed the property. Getting there was a little challenging, however. The email directions said one thing, but the GPS instructions took us another route. At one point, we were actually stuck and had to call for help. Maybe it would help to be very clear about not going right after the bridge.

Nice Cabin.
Great view. Inside layout was a little different than what was pictured. The loft area isn’t quite as open as pictured either. They had it kind of boarded up. We lost power off and on for a day while there, but that’s just because we had some bad weather. We loved the hot tub and had a great time here!

Deer walking around and a great view. Bedroom in loft is a little awkward and the beds are not as comfortable as the rest of the house. Fireplaces were amazing. Property is very peaceful

Lots of spaces to gather
We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the outside fireplace and the comfy sitting and the screened in porch. We also enjoyed doing a puzzle in front of the big glass loft window and viewing the scenery.

Beautiful space and views
Overall a beautiful place to stay, we enjoyed ourselves. It is a little tired and lacking some basic amenities that have been in other places we have stayed at this price point. If you are looking for a space to sleep and have great views, this would be perfect. If you are looking to actually stay, cook, relax and have the full experience-plan on bringing some extra things with you. We had a few issues that management quickly sent someone out to help us with, we very much appreciated that! We would consider staying again, knowing to bring extras.

My sons and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Everything was just as advertised in the photos and the description. The view from the patio area was very beautiful and scenic. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the fire pit in the evenings. Would definitely book this cabin again!

My entire family loved this cabin, including my parents. It truly felt like our home while visiting the local state parks/national forests, breweries, wineries, orchard… I could go on. I love this are so much, and I looked forward to coming “home” to relax each night. The views, the stars, the hot tub, (again, I could go on) made this the most perfect place. Take advantage of the on-location trail that runs through Cherry Log Mountain. It’s a perfect trail along a gorgeous stream.

Myself and three friends take an annual trip to Blue Ridge in the Fall before the craziness of the holidays. This year’s rental has been deemed our favorite cabin yet. Already planning our next trip and plan to stay here again! The views and outdoor area were our faves of the trip!

The Perfect Headquarters for Blue Ridge
This was a fantastic little cabin for the few-days' hiking trip I had with my friends! We were usually out all day, so we didn't need anything big or fancy to come home to, so this cabin was more than enough! The hot tub was fantastic (though it was a bit tricky to understand how to get started), the living spaces were cozy and on-theme, and the beds were really comfortable! My only complaint was the kitchen was missing what I would consider some important pieces of cookware: full sets of measuring cups and spoons, a liquid measuring cup, and some other odds and ends. Otherwise a fantastic stay and I will probably come back next year!

Couple of days in Blue Ridge
The cabin and property were awesome. We had no problems with anything, kitchen had all the basic tools, bathrooms were modern & clean. The evening views are fantastic and the outside entertainment area was large enough for everyone to hang out comfortably. Getting up the mountain was a little crazy the first time for someone who doesn't deal with it often, but it wasnt anything too bad. I wouldnt suggest anyone with a car trying it. I would definitely stay here again based on the property. The town of Blue Ridge was was meh, but thats not on the cabin.

Beautiful cabin with a great view. Hot tub was not working and we were not notified before or after booking. We were very disappointed in that since it was a big reason for us choosing this particular cabin. Everything else went smooth.

Great porch, great view, had some problems with break down of heater, gas fireplace didn’t work, gas heater didn’t work and hot tub wasn’t working. We did enjoy our stay, the local towns people are so nice, and had a great time.

Mountain Top! Amazing view! Comfy cabin in woods, very good beds, very well stocked and felt at home
The Cherry Log neighborhood was incredibly beautiful. Road up the mountain to cabin was gravel, narrow & rough in couple places but not overwhelming even being in a front wheel drive SUV in some rain, we made it fine. It felt secure knowing others lived around you, but yet almost like you had the place all to yourself. Romantic for couples…hot tub with incredible views of mountains and forest with wildlife! Outdoor fireplace was the best feature while soaking in tub and meals on the covered patio. Morning coffee on crisp fall days on the screened porch was cherry on top of a beautiful stay in this wonderful area of Georgia. Highly recommended for families and couples alike. Visited during apple orchard harvest & even visited a vineyard and sunflower field very close by.

Mountain Getaway
Top of the mountain and quiet! House is a true mountain cabin with cute country decor and as all the other reviews state... there are lots of pillows. Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and dine at the cabin. Plenty of seating in a variety of locations. We are a family of 3, 2 adults and a 6 year old boy. Lots nearby to explore and downtown Blue Ridge and Elijay are close enough to get out of the quiet and do things. The bed pillows are a little thin in the master so if you like a fluffier bed pillow bring your own. We used the grill and made s'mores in the fire pit all while deer would walk right up to the house and greet us each morning and evening. Great hiking nearby, we did several trails. The property manager was wonderful and very responsive to our issues and needs. As I stated at the beginning, this house is at the top or so it seems, 4x4 or a vehicle that can climb is recommended. We had a CX5 and it was a little scary at times, especially when raining trying to make it up and down the mountain. House overall was as promised and pictured. My only con that kept me from a 5 star rating is that the house needs a deep clean. Dust bunnies and cob webs all over and the chairs and dining table on the screened porch need a cleaning, the cushions on the chairs were so dirty we removed them to sit and dine. We truly had a wonderful week long stay and would return to the cabin.

Gorgeous View
Renting this property was so easy and painless. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is abundantly furnished just like out of a catalog. Every detail is has been thought of all the way down the the beautiful dishes. The cabin is very clean and the beds are comfortable. We ate every meal outside, the view is incredible. The hot tub was clean and the kids loved it. It can play a CD so that was cool. Every appliance was nice and worked well. We cooked breakfast and dinner each day. They have everythung you can think of in this kitchen. I even saw a crockpot, which is super thoughtful of the owner. A few things stood out as cons for our family. There are a few parts of the road to get to the cabin that are one lane only. (When you aren't mountian people that seems scary.) We never passed any cars so it was never an actual issue. There is also one steep curve that is best navigated by angling your vehicle. I would not reccommend driving a car to this cabin. Our kia sorento navigated it fine though. Also this cabin is very small. The owner has done an excellent job maximizing the space, but it is really small and the abundant furnishings and decor are beautiful but take up space making it feel smaller. The stairs themselves are small especially the top one, so be careful with the placement of your foot. The lights in the cabin are dim. In our opinion they need to be updated to LED. We had to use cellphone flashlights a couple times. (It rained and was overcast our entire stay, so that may be why it was darker than usual.) The last thing would be the toilets, they are so small and the upstairs one is crammed a little too close to the wall. I am a plus size girl so I hated those small toilets. I realize that would only apply to my fellow plus size people. Overall this cabin met and even exceeded our needs, provided a beautiful view, and was extremely clean.

Pretty view from a dark cabin up a rocky road...
The property was well supplied with all essentials, comfortable enough but with terrible bed pillows, need replacing!! Very dark and poor lighting. Extremely dusty and far too many ornaments and stuff. In need of a facelift and some TLC.

Rustic Cabin
Cabin was as advertised. It's a small cabin, but they make the most of the space. The only complaint is the metal roof with the accompanying oak tree(s) that have limbs that hang over the roof. The oak tree(s) consistently drop acorns and at night it's loud and wakes you up frequently.
