What a great way to spend the New Year with fresh mountain air and time in this beautiful cabin. What a peaceful, comfortable, recharging stay! None of us wanted to leave, even the dogs.

Perfect "getaway" for 4 or less people to GET AWAY

The owner keeps the place absolutely meticulously. There are myriad examples, but the little touches of the fire being ready to go, cleaning pods, the decorative Christmas mountain themes just put it over the top. Having the dartboard, and the decks and views were great. You are in the middle of NO WHERE, but can be in town in 20 minutes. Perfect for what we were looking for. Great job owner!

Cozy and peaceful mountain getaway cabin

The cabin is gorgeous! Just like in the photos. We absolutely loved the screened deck and the outdoor fire pit/hammock area. Everything is comfortable, clean, and tasteful. The spiral staircase to the bedrooms and restroom is a little tight, but there is a separate entrance to the main bedroom from the backyard if needed. Kiley is a wonderful host and answered our questions promptly via the Vrbo app. We will be returning!

It was wonderful...

We definitely enjoyed our stay. We hate that the weather changed as quickly as it did but it didn't change how much we enjoyed the cabin. It felt like a home away from home. The view was amazing & the cabin was absolutely gorgeous. We'll definitely be back!!!!!

Great place

Everything was great, just needed some time to relax with the family and enjoy peace and quiet. Was excellent place. We could never get the dishwasher to work though, we have the same brand so not sure what was going on with that, probably need to take a look to make sure it's working ok. Other than that it was amazing and we'll be coming back. It's like being on the edge with nothing but forest and trees and nature to the west...loved it even though we were rained in most of the weekend. We did get out and enjoy the area as we've stayed on the other side of Blue Ridge before. Love the mountains and we'll be back...and hopefully save 10% which it said on the back of your card. This is a lovely property. We thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend getaway here. The firepit area is perfect! Kiley is responsive and so thoughtful. Will definitely stay here again!

Bliss!

So peaceful and private! Amazing sunrise on back deck, restful times on screened porch, playing under awning during shower, roasting marshmallows OH MY! Great area for fun with our 5 yr old active grandson! We enjoyed our time enough to stay another night! Very hospitable host, cabin is more than stocked, small things are appreciated by this renter♡bath and bedrooms downstairs by spiral staircase only was a challenge but... would return tomorrow! Thank you so much, hope to return!

Perfect getaway

We loved this property, and the area. There were so many little touches that made such a difference in the level of convenience at this cabin. From the extras in the bathroom, to the fully stocked spice cabinet, we were pleasantly surprised by all of the thoughtfulness of the host to ensure that your trip is as enjoyable as possible. Everything needed for peace & relaxation

Hubby requested a mountain view and a peaceful atmosphere. We got these & more with this cabin. It’s so leafy around this property we felt a little like we were in a treehouse. The sounds of birds singing & the breeze blowing through the trees was truly “heavenly” as we sat out on the roomy screened-in porch. Even as a gentle rain drifted in, one could still enjoy the porch and read a book or take a nap SO comfortably. Located at the edge of the Cohutta Wilderness, we heard no traffic except the passage of a few deer through the woods. The bedrooms were completely comfortable & quiet; each was quite roomy with quality bedding & linens - so snug! Ceiling fans, box fan & window units were there for cooling, but the breeze in June was enough for us. The master bedroom had its own little deck at ground level, and above it was a deck open to the outdoors with a picnic-style table and a grill, a great way to enjoy the afternoon sun or an evening sunset. All household power and electronic items were perfectly functional and we lacked no convenience. One issue was the spiral staircase, which was a tight fit - I couldn’t carry a laundry basket down these steps. Otherwise, it was fine. We weree happy to stay here and would do so again, owners very easy to reach & accommodating of your needs.

It exceeded our expectations

Gorgeous & comfortable

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here - and so did our pup! Kiley's house was beautiful and very well kept, and she added a lot of little details that made our stay very comfortable. One of our favorite rooms was the screened-in patio. While we enjoyed it, the spiral staircase might be difficult for some as it is very narrow and posed some issues bringing luggage downstairs to where the bedrooms are. But, we just carried the bigger stuff around the outside to the back, which offers access to the lower level. Unfortunately it was raining during most of our stay, so while we didn't get to partake in the many nearby outdoor activities, it was at least a beautiful home to cozy up in!

Peaceful getaway

We would be lying if we said we didnt have a good time. We had a wonderful time even with the 1 day rain. The view alone can speak volumes and has bring such peace into our lives while we were there. We will be coming back again.

Best get-away EVER!

For our first family vacation it was awesome! Everything was perfect, the house was so cozy and warm. Kiley was awesome, and very helpful. It was perfect, even if we didn't want to leave the mountain there was TONS of exploring we did around the cabin. My 5yr son and 7yr old dog were in heaven. Thank you and we will be back.

Great time

The property was perfect probably the only downside we had was the spiral staircase our poor cocker spaniel had to be carried up and down depending on where we were and the staircase is so small definitely not for anyone overweight but I had read that on someone else’s so it wasn’t a shocker.

AMAZING!

We stayed here for a short girl's getaway and it was fantastic. VERY clean and you can tell there is so much thought put into the guest experience, even down to having dog biscuits for the furry guests. It's in a beautiful location with spectacular views. Thought the spiral stairs might be a challenge but honestly it didn't damper our stay whatsoever, in fact quite the opposite...we had several laughs about using them. Kiley was so helpful and available. I would highly recommend this property and I will definitely be back.

Wonderful cabin!

This was a great experience! Kiley was always very prompt and friendly in returning emails. The cabin was especially clean and cozy! It is away from it all, but still close enough to downtown. The bed linens and towels were great quality and comfortable! Highly recommend!! We hope to return! Thanks Kiley!!

Needed rails for older and disabled people to help get up steps. My 85 old Mom fell down the steps onto the cement pavers and hit her head and shoulder. This wouldn't have happened if she had rails to hold onto. The scenery of the mountains on the website was deceiving; you couldn't see the mountains, just trees. The spiral staircase was bad trying to go up and down them. It should had a bathroom upstairs too. I recommend older people and disabled people not to rent this cabin. The road going up to the cabin is washed out in places. Lower cars can not go up to cabin in these washed out places. I would say all in all, the spiral stair case, the bathroom not located upstairs, and the missing rails on the outside was the downside. I was dissatisfied with cleaning up the cabin after I paid $120 for the cleaning. I will never rent this cabin again.

Will not dissapoint

A great secluded spot. Clean and well appointed. Clean air and beautiful sunrises. Great horseback riding within a mile of the cabin and the community pond is stocked with bass. Plan ahead for food. Blue Ridge is close but a 20 minute drive. Lots to do within an hours drive...or stay put and relax.
