— DRIVING —
Roads are paved all the way to the cabin, but do get narrow at times. The driveway is paved, but somewhat steep, so if you're in a car or normal minivan you may scrape the front bumper exiting the driveway onto the road (at least ours does). We've had success backing down the driveway to avoid scraping in our van.
Due to the mountain roads and incline of the driveway, no trailers/campers are allowed.
There is room for 3 vehicles to park in front of the cabin, and maps and navigation should have no trouble taking you right to the address.

Our family immensely enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect place to stay. From the serene sounds of the the river and nature to all of the convenient amenities, this cabin has everything you could want and more.
What a great family trip! Plenty for our family to enjoy our time at the cabin. That creek! The hot tub view was awesome, and we enjoyed shooting pool, arcade games, and the infinity table together.
We needed a quiet get away after the chaos of the holidays, and this was perfect. It was the perfect place to unwind. We all enjoyed the pool table and card games. The kids (not really kids at 17 and 25) loved the hot tub, even in January.
We had a great stay. There were some initial cleaning concerns once we arrived, but the host responded quickly about them. The views, sounds of the creek, and games made for a great stay and time together before the school year kicks off.
The house was amazing! Location and quality of the property was well worth the money! The property owners were very responsive when messaged and extremely helpful!! I have stayed at a lot of places in Blue Ridge and this is one I will be staying in again!
This was a great cabin for a couples only trip. Each room has a king size bed and bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked for big breakfasts before heading out for the day.
The location was perfect for our day trips to Blue Ridge, Ellijay and McCaysville.
Everything was perfect for our stay! Good location, close to everything without being in town. Perfectly clean. Well stocked. Kind and helpful host! I definitely recommend it!
We had a great time at this location. The scenic view was calming. The small touches like labeling the cabinets and jacuzzi rules made it easy to find everything. The craftsmanship was beautiful.
My family and I took a short back to school vacation. The cabin is amazing . The cabin was way better than advertised. It has everything you need for family fun. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be planning at return trip.
Great stay in blue ridge! The property is close to blue ridge as well as other nearby towns. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as streaming TV in all the rooms. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Nice big bedrooms, bathrooms and closets. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at Summer Retreat! The views from the cabin were absolutely beautiful! Situated on the side of the mountain with trees surrounding it, we felt we were in a treehouse! We enjoyed mornings in, sitting on the upper deck taking in the views and listening to the birds and peaceful flow of the creek below. Afternoons were spent exploring Blue Ridge and surrounding areas. We went hiking, horseback riding, and river tubing; all just a short drive from the cabin! Evenings were enjoyed in, grilling out, playing pool and games as a family! Our children loved having their own king suites! It is a very comfortable, well laid out and furnished cabin!
Beautiful place! Perfect for us! Close to everything we wanted to do. The 3 Master Bedrooms gave all three of us our on space. Enjoyed everything about it! I would definitely recommend it!
This little piece of mountain heaven home was as beautiful as it was cozy. Stocked with essential needs (pots/pans/towels/hot tub towels/high chair) and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and perfect views and also enjoyed the easy access to Wal-mart for quick “oops I forgot” trips! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice family styled unit.
Everything was exceptional!! Perfect location to Everything. Quiet loved that we could walk to the creek from the trail directly from the cabin. Our host Donald was amazing even sent a quick texy to see how things were going and if everything was ok!!!! Definitely booking with him again!!!
I was an amazing experience. I had a great time with my family, so great that right before leaving we added another day. Also the owner is great at communicating, he always answers the messages within a moderate amount of time. This house is beautiful and the view plus the sound of the river is great. I truly recommend it to everyone.
