Thanks giving getaway
Great place and enough space to do thanksgiving with the family.
The house is in a great location with a fabulous backyard on the river. Very peaceful outside. The inside not very clean or peaceful. It is decorated beautifully and is a really nice cabin, just not clean.
My wife and I and our dog went here for a 4 day stay and truly enjoyed ourself! Very peaceful, calm surrounding area with a beautiful river right next to the cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool tables. Lots of space, plenty of room for 6 adults comfortably. Highly recommended
This is our second time staying in this cabin. We enjoyed the cabin, the location is amazing just steps from the Tocoa river. It was Veterans Day weekend so the traffic on the road was pretty busy- and motorcycles and trucks were pretty noisy which was a bummer because we wanted to enjoy the peace/tranquility of nature. Even with that, the cabin and deck/hot tub were just as we remembered!! Next time we will visit on a less busy weekend.
Great stay for mom, dad and grown up children. Every chair, couch and bed was comfortable. The indoor and outdoor spaces are roomy enough for everyone, and also allowed each of us a place to be alone and relax. A group of deer visited us each day, and we listened to birdsong every morning and evening. Highly recommend this property!
Wonderful cabin with everything we could need. Beds were so comfortable! Plenty room for us and our 3 adult children. We would recommend brighter lighting in bathrooms and over pool table. River is beautiful and so relaxing, perfect for tubing, fishing or just sitting by and reading.
Beautiful cabin and setting. We loved the river scene and how comfortable the cabin was. Kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of towels and comfortable blankets to snuggle up with. Host was incredibly nice and responsive. Loved our stay!!
Highly recommend this house for your river get away. Beds are comfy, kitchen is stocked and water access was great. Enjoyed playing cards on the screened in porch, burn fire at the fire pit and floating in the water.
It’s really comfortable
Bed’s comfortable
Space great
Outside river seating my favorite
Best cabin we have ever being
Will be back soon
Close to town
Thank you
The home was beautiful and very clean… the river was so spectacular.. the property manager was so helpful…the atmosphere was so quiet! The only thing I was concerned about was the trash…they had a small trash bin outside and when we arrived it already had garbage in it.. other than that it was idyllic…
We LOVED our stay. We were in the river everyday and able to launch our kayaks from the back yard. The locals are so nice and about 20ish minutes from Blue Ridge. I’ve never slept better away from my own bed and reading on the back deck to the sounds of the Taccoa was something I wish I could take home with me. Try Poke Jon’s in Blue Ridge for the best pokè bowls EVER!

Lovely river. Very rustic and relaxing.
We enjoyed our stay. The screened in deck with the jacuzzi was very relaxing. The house was rustic with mountain like design. Beds were a little too soft. Spider webs inside and out of the house. Both could use a brume and blow off. Bath tub doesn't drain properly. Bed comforters and quilts need a wash. The river was close to the house as promised and lovely.

Disappointed. Great location but not clean or bug free
Roaches in kitchen, hair clogging shower drains, cob webs inside and covering outside, fan blades very dirty, arrived and outside trash can was half full already.
Stayed here with my adult children and everything was wonderful. Beautiful river views, home had everything we needed and was super relaxing. Aprx 25 minutes to Blue Ridge which was no problem at all. Only issues with cleanliness was the throw blankets on the couches having a odor. Otherwise it was great. Would definitely stay again
We love blueridge and this home was very easy to get to and close to Mercer Orchards and downtown blueridge. We had a hiccup with check in but it was taken care of right away. Fireplace was easy to light and home was stocked with everything you would need for a getaway. Listening and sitting by the river was amazing.
I would totally rent this home again.
Best Regards
My husband and I love to stay on the Toccoa River and especially on cabins on Dial Road because we are cyclists, and staying there gives us good riding options without having to load up our bikes and drive somewhere. This was our first time to stay in River Run, and it was the best one yet. The easiest thing to say is that we loved everything about it! Its proximity to the river is fantastic, the layout of the house is perfect, and we loved the hot tub on the screened-in porch - oh, and the pool table! We loved playing pool every night while watching TV. This is our new favorite spot!
The Good: Single level home!, Great kitchen, Home layout, Furnishings.
The Bad: Only 4 towels for 4 people for a week :( :( :( and the towels smelled bad, like they were left in the washer for several days before drying, Lots of cobwebs inside and on patio, Did not love the water-stinks, Driveway could use something firmer due to incline, Bigger trash can, Couldn't fish cause water runs too fast-don't advertise fishing.
From the very moment we arrived every thing about our stay could not have been more perfect. The cabin was warm and inviting. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen was great to cook our late Thanksgiving dinner in, with plenty of space we weren't bumping into each other. At night, sitting out on the screened in porch with the relaxing sound of the river flowing by and sitting in the hot tub with the jets on relieving all of the aches and pains of aging. Everything we needed was there for us. I NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE!! Our furbabies even loved it here. We will most definitely be coming back here!!
I brought some friends on a girl’s trip as a “thank you.” Also brought my teen daughter. I arrived early to organize girl treats and fill up the fridge. My daughter and I walked in and I swear I about teared up.
Sounds a bit dramatic but when the stress of life piles up and you finally get an opportunity to decompress…
THIS PLACE is AMAZING. Beautiful decor, comfy furniture, EVERYTHING you would ever need in the kitchen. The beds were super comfy as well, and the dining table with a view (and sound) of the river was so nice.
We spent a LOT of time just relaxing in the screened porch talking and listening to the river.
The owner clearly has excellent taste, a sense of humor and attention to detail. Communication was great from day one; friendly and accommodating.
Five stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We spent 4 nights here with our grandkids, ages 1 to 10 and had a fabulous time! Location on the river was excellent and under supervision everyone except the baby played in the river. FYI: we brought life jackets. We made use of the fire pit for smores several times. There's a large grassy area for outdoor games, too. Inside, the cabin is all one level, which is hard to find but perfect for children. Plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is large with lots of counter space and a big table with benches accommodates a large family for meals, games, and crafts. Storage was available for our food items in the pantry and was appreciated. The screened porch and hot tub were well used. There's a pool table, also. Owner responded to questions. It was a 5 star stay and we hope to return next summer! Thank you, Rob!
