Escape to the Blue Ridge mountains and discover our GETAWAY. This mountain cabin is on over 2 thickly forested acres surrounded by the Cohutta Wilderness area and the Chattahoochee National Forest. You will experience seasonal mountain views, expansive decks, an outdoor covered hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, PlayStation and much much more.

After a day of exploring all that the Blue ridge area has to offer including hiking, rafting, fly fishing, biking to name a few, you’ll find it hard to resist a rocking chair on one of the decks overlooking the wooded mountainside, breathing in the refreshing mountain air and listening to the sounds of the woods. Once your day is complete you can cook dinner on the Weber charcoal grill, propane gas grill or in the full kitchen. Retire to the living room for an evening of movies Netflix, Prime and DVD's) and PlayStation 3 games or to the expansive game loft for a competitive game of pool or air hockey! In the winter warm up , in front of the gas fireplace or relax in the hot tub.

A beautiful short drive from the cabin is Mercier Orchards and downtown Blue Ridge which features many dining choices, galleries and quaint shops, Lake Blue Ridge for boating, tubing and fishing and the Aska Adventure area is a also short drive as well as the Ocoee Whitewater Center, which was home to the 1996 Olympic Games! There are many wineries in the area that are easy to get to, educational, have award winning wine and are great fun! Whether you're coming to the mountains with a family, group of friends or a romantic Getaway this spacious cabin will not disappoint!

The property was well maintained and the area was as I thought it would be, peaceful and quiet. Loved the screened in porch and the gaming options that came in play on Friday night. The hot tube was a most at the end of a day of walterfall viewing. In all, we loved our stay at the cabin. A must return visit.

Great Get Away

Really enjoyed the cabin and all the amenities. We spend a week in April. There was a dip in the temperatures and we loved the gas fireplace and a nightly hot tub.

We had an amazing time watching tv with the fire going, sitting on the deck watching animals, in the hot tub, playing pool even just playing cards. The house was amazing and in a very relaxing location! Couldn't have went anywhere better!

Great Stay!

Clean is the first description!, The place was so clean, and well stocked. Other than our food and clothing, and some personal items, we didn't need another thing. The pool table was a treat, a long with the pingpong and air hockey. Our granddaughters had a great time playing. This location is quiet, and we had quite a few deer feeding around the cabin that we enjoyed watching. I would highly recommend a stay here. David &Kim

Adorable and roomy cabin with incredible amenities just like home. Beautiful hillside setting in the woods with a screened in porch. Comfortable bed and furniture. I highly recommend this accommodation but be aware there is a dirt road to the cabin and steep gravel driveway up to the house. I suggest arriving before nightfall.

Little Cabin in the Woods

This was to cutest little house in the woods. Clean and well appointed. Pool table and air hockey upstairs with 2nd bedroom, ping-pong in basement. The house was easy to access, clean and comfortable. Close to town but far enough away to be peaceful and serene. We will book again when we are in the area. An absolute 10 out of 10 gem.

Nice property

We enjoyed the pool table and air hockey during a rainy day. The screened in porch was very relaxing. My brother and his wife were thrilled to see 3 big deer walking across the road into the yard. I would recommend making sure you get to the property before dark. It is on a mountain road and very hard to see at night. We would definitely stay here again.

The Getaway Didn’t Disappoint

We were looking for a place to go for a week & just relax & recharge. The Getaway was the best choice we could of ever made. So quiet & peaceful. The only neighbors we had were the animals outside. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy, I had no trouble falling asleep. The girls enjoyed the upstairs bedroom & loved playing pool. Never laughed so hard playing ping pong. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay to relax & recharge.
