"The property is dated and it shows. The bathroom door would not close unless you really pushed hard. The carpet was old with threads showing. The room was panelled with dark paneling which was scratched in multiple places. The room was very dark and the lighting wasn't sufficient to make up for the dark colors. The bathroom is small and there is zero counter space to put anything out. Breakfast is free but my wife and I could not eat the scrambled eggs since they were cold. They charge $5 per day for parking. This may be in the listing but I didn't see it and it caught me by surprise. They really need to do some serious work to bring it up to a more modern facility. My wife and I are frequent travellers to Gatlinburg and this is the first time we stayed here. We will not stay there again."
