"For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. "The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. "
