"This cabin is super cozy and cute and Jill was a wonderful host. We were visiting a friend about a half hour away and honestly wish we spent more time at the cabin, as it was a quick stay."

"This is an exceptional property in every way. The cabin is gorgeous with huge windows that allow you to gaze in wonder at the stars at night. It’s easy living if you want to cook and relax. We used it as a base for attending numerous events for a week-long family reunion with family who live in the area. We do have one suggestion to make it even better — All the pillows on every bed are large and firm — almost like a body pillow. An assortment of types and styles of pillows would have been better. I know those high loft pillows are good for some people but I was very glad I brought my smaller, flatter, down filled pillow which is better for my neck. My husband wished he brought his own pillow too. But the pillows should not be a deal breaker… it’s a gorgeous cabin and we loved it. Our dog especially enjoyed Blueberry Lake - about 10 min drive away. Thanks so much for your hospitality!"

"The stay was amazing! The home had a very warm and welcoming vibe. I was alone with my two year old and our cat and we had the most wonderful time celebrating her birthday there. The home was very well maintained, kitchen supplies, bedding and linen were all perfect. I would definitely stay again when we travel to Vermont next summer and highly recommended it to anyone looking at exploring the area and having a nice home to relax and heal "

"I just wanted to say this place is very nice and quiet. As a paraplegic wheelchair user I would highly recommend Pine Meadow Retreat. It is one of the most accessible properties I have stayed at while traveling. Bed heights are good, roll in shower is spacious and you can roll under the sink. It was very well thought out. The host, Kate was super nice and responds promptly. I will definitely be returning. Thank you guys for a great, comfortable place to stay."

"Great location for base camp. loved the close proximity for our main hike - Abraham and Eleanor- and a little further out for camels Hump.Would be great spot for skiing sugar bush or mad river glen!!. Well equipped home/ had everything we needed and then some. Host was responsive!!!!"

"Far from the maddening crowd! Private, very quiet location nestled on a mountainside with easy access to beautiful Blueberry Lake, great for swimming and water activities. The chalet is lovely. It was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. It is suffused with light in the large and very comfortable living area/open kitchen. The fact that it's pet friendly was a big plus for us. The host was eminently accessible to answer questions and the caretaker very responsive to our needs, especially in picking up the garbage, which can't be left outside because of bears. Although "off the road", it's an easy trip to Waitsfield, a lovely town with community activities and good food. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway in a beautiful place, this is it!"
