"This is the best hotel/motel we have stayed in on this NS trip. It might not have the exterior charm of the Lunenburg waterfront but it’s so clean and easy to access. Lunenburg is walkable (1km away) if you like walking as well.

"Great property! Well organized and equipped with everything you need (aside from a dishwasher). Just a short drive to Lunenburg. We loved kayaking right from the dock. The inlet is very calm and the kids loved exploring the islands and waterways. "
"From the moment we arrived, the inn was top notch! They showed us to our room and showed us the lovely balcony that overlooked the bay and encouraged us to use it- we did! The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The location was right in the middle of lovely Lunenburg. So glad we booked here!"
"A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"
