Top Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic Hotel Reviews
Rum Runner Inn
8/10 Good
"We were put in Room One and there was noise above us until after 9 PM and they were moving furniture or something outside our bedroom until after 8 and then we were right beside office. They call the room oceanview but it’s only a sliver if you look sideways. Room has some dandy long legs and flies flying around but couldn’t open window to get them out. Overall not too impressed for the price."
Travelodge by Wyndham Bridgewater
8/10 Good
"The room was adequate with a computer desk and adequate electronics to allow plug-ins for cell phones, computers, and other electric equipment if necessary. There was a small sofa and, for a change, a room with seating for more than one person. Lighting was just o.k. The location is excellent. WE chose Bridgewater as it's a scenic, easy drive to Lunenburg and visiting the other side down the coast of the LeHave river area, all worth seeing. We were there 3 nights and enjoyed it. Parking is no issue. Access is no issue. The staff, especially the lady manager, was wonderful with a great personality. She makes you feel part of the family. I would definitely stay here again"
Salt Shaker Deli & Inn
8/10 Good
"The rooms are directly above the restaurant. The staff are great. Our room overlooked the restaurant patio and Lunnenburg wharfs. There was chatter and activity until closing. There is no A/C but it cooled off quickly with the windows open. The bathroom fan did not work, nor did the lower receptacles on the bedside. We unplugged the bedside lamps to charge our phones."
The Dockside Inn & Restaurant
8/10 Good
"We were lucky enough to get a room with a gorgeous view of the water. The room, although dated, was very spacious and clean. The staircase leading to the room reminded you of just how old the building is. The hallway carpet was filthy but the room was clean, We would stay there again as long as we were guaranteed a water view."
Smugglers Cove Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location for our visit. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. When you arrive, you park in front to check in and drop off your luggage, they will then let you know where to park as they don’t have a parking garage. Very clean and very pleasant stay in Lunenberg! Beautiful place!!!!"
Unique Ocean View Hilltop Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for a better place! We absolutely loved our time spent there. Thank you for making our stay so memorable."
Bluenose Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The house is beautiful, good location a short walk to town and waterfront. Dining room was beautiful, sunny, comfortable with excellent breakfast provided"
Apple Orchard Cottage Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
8/10 Good
"This was a great property for what we wanted as a family reunion."
Black Forest Cabins
8/10 Good
"Beautiful and clean room. Great location. Enormously comfortable bed! I truly loved the space. There were just a few things that prevented me from giving a full 5-stars. The shower ran out of hot water. The passageway to the doors of each cabin are elevated like a boardwalk, which looks very quaint but is a bit problematic because you either have to walk around the long way to get to your vehicle, or step off of the boardwalk, which is about a 4-foot drop (for my cabin, anyway), making it a little difficult to step on/off. If they were to install a small step beside the boardwalk, it would make a huge difference. Privacy is also a bit difficult. The cabins are very close to each other. The wifi info is in a link, which was a little problematic and took a long time to load due to my phone's poor signal. But it's all in all, a great stay."
